    I must be using this wrong. I am able to use the base mod, have placed key into the bag? opened up by activating a cloud storage chest and selecting keys. But the game acts as though I do not have the key. Yes its a nice place to stuff all my keys so they do not clutter up my inventory but I thought it was supposed to act as though I had the key in my inventory, whilst it is in cloud storage. Am I putting my key in the wrong place?
    It would be wonderful if some kind soul let me know how it is supposed to work :)

      Okay it seems you are having problems with several of my.

      Are you using OpenMW ???

      Nope. Using Wrye Mash x64 v101 beta6 Polemos fork 2/2021.
      I have; ASH v2.0-1415, Bag of Holding...755, CS Warehouse...155, CS Warehouse Shoppe...379, TEM Bag...285 and Keyring for TEM Bag...030.

      Hmm, I'll try asking some questions.
      1. If I did not have the keyring mod installed, then when opening an 'everything' CS chest I would not have an option for Keys and that is the only thing that changes, i.e. no new inventory item appears or something else I am supposed to do?
      2. If yes, then since I do have that option, that means the Keyring mod IS installed and putting a key into that container is what I am expected to do?
      3. If yes, then I am doing the right thing with the mod but the game is not recognising that the key is inside the CS Keyring?
      4. Is they keyring supposed to work with any key rather than a list of known keys?
      5. If no, then unknown keys from 'new' mods fail automatically?
      Q5 Seems quite unlikely as I would expect a more elegant solution than keeping a list of known keys.

      No this does no rely on any kind of list for it to work
      When you try to open a lock it looks at what key it requires and then looks in the bag to see if it contains the requied key... if it does that is then used to open the lock.

      Can you see if there are any entries in "morrowind\MWSE.log" related to this mod which might give a clue.

      Okay are you running the latest MGE XE? just in case Run MWSE-update.exe.

      A trapdoor is disguised as a chest behind Millie inside the shop.
      Added by The Underground 2 Super Patched-50321-2-0-1710429893 mod.
      Key game name Key to Millie's trapdoor.
      Item ID Q_millie_key_01
      1. Key on floor.
      Game message about needing the key.
      Not able to use 'trapdoor', as in no transition to new cell, PC remains in shop.
      2. Key in PC normal inventory.
      PC transitions to new cell, a tunnel under the shop.
      3. Key in CS.
      Game message about needing the key.
      Not able to use 'trapdoor', as in no transition to new cell, PC remains in shop.

      It suddenly dawns on me that the mod The Underground 2 Super Patched may be performing its own check to see if the key is in the PCs inventory. In which case, I am a fool, and this mod is working fine. Very sorry to have troubled you.

      Ha... yes they are using the key as trigger and not for a lock... that would cause it

      Glad you figured it out and can now enjoy the beniftits of the key ring

    seem to have done everything, rented it from Arrielle, have the key and door doesn't open.  No idea how to get in the apartment.

    Nice. But perhaps MWSE should be listed as a requirement?

      This is just an add on for my Explorers Magical Bag, which is a requirement, so MWSE would be needed for that to work and therefore not an additional requirement for this mod
