    Very nice and cool. Any plans for making more naginata-esque weapons such as steel pudao, daedric glaive, glass sovnya etc?

      Those are all great ideas, and I'd definitely like to add more weapons/weapon types, especially polearms.

      I really like this mod, and FUITHJ's ideas. Those 3 new polearms in the levelled lists would be amazing.

      If you don't mind some DIY, I'd recommend downloading this mod and using the assets to implement its naginatas into your game:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47015

      It's a big mod project but its full of weapon assets that you can play with, so I've been doing so since finding it.

    I know it's cringe to ask this under every weapon mod that catches my attention, but does Naginata and Ronin set mods "harmonize" with weapon sheathing? Weapon disapears when holstered, or is it shown nicely on character's back when sheathed?

      I'm not sure how the weapon sheathing mod functions as I've never used it. Do you know if it is something that determines how they are sheathed based on weapon type, or is there something I would need to modify on my end to make it work (e.g. a custom body part)?

      Because if it is the former, then I would assume it works the same as other spear wrapons. If it's the latter, I can look into it and try to figure out how to make it compatible.

      it should show up on your character, however you have the option of overwriting the sheathed weapon to suit your needs, the readme has a guide on the process:

      ============
      Modder Notes
      ============
      If you want to add custom sheath visuals to your own weapons this mod makes the process both easy and efficient. No additional scripting needed. You simply need to place the mesh containing your custom visuals into the same directory as your weapon mesh, and give it a matching filename with an added "_sh" suffix.
      Example:
          meshes/w/w_saber.nif     # the original base mesh
          meshes/w/w_saber_sh.nif  # the sheathed version
      The contents of your "_sh" file should follow the conventions of those included in this archive. "Weapon" parts (those that should be removed when drawn) should be placed under a NiNode named "Bip01 Weapon", and "Sheath" parts (those that should always be visible) should be placed under a NiNode named "Bip01 Sheath". If your mesh is a quiver then you should also create a "Bip01 Ammo" NiNode with additional nodes inside (which will be used for attaching ammunition).
      Example:
          |-Scene Root
          |
          |---Bip01 Sheath
          |  |
          |  |---TriShape(s)
          |
          |---Bip01 Weapon
          |  |
          |  |---TriShape(s)
      There are around 70 "_sh" meshes included in the archive, be sure to check them out for more detailed examples.
      Note that all of this is optional! If you choose not to, the mod will still display the weapon's base mesh while sheathed.

    I downloaded this with vortex (which has a Morrowind extension now), and It says that there is an incompatibility issue with you Indoril Ronin mod.

      There is an unused texture file for the naginata in the Ronin mod -- it's the same one that this mod uses. If that is the conflict, then overwriting it should be fine. I will do a bit of organizing and upload versions that don't cause that incompatibility flag as soon as I get the chance though.

      The Ronin mod contains a unique, enchanted variant with a slightly different appearance. This mod adds a normal version -- both hand-placed and to various leveled lists. The weapons use different ItemIDs and so both mods can be used at the same time without conflict.
