Hey, is it going to be compatible with mods like "Caldera Mine Expanded", or I should go with Damius / DetailDevil versions instead?

Does this work with randompal's stonewood pass? I don't think it does. There is a landoverlap on the bridge. https://ibb.co/Ky9BmgS

This mod contains no LAND edits, so it's definitely not this mod that is causing vanilla Caldera to appear in the middle of Stonewood Pass (I use Stonewood Pass myself, so making sure Rocky West Gash was compatible was the first thing I made sure of).  Best guess: you have another mod that edits Caldera, or (given that it looks like pure vanilla Caldera in the screenshot) you have a mod with a dirty edit (a duplicated LAND value, identical to the master .esm file) that is overriding the northernmost cell of Stonewood Pass.

Hmm, I wonder what it could be. I use bcom and the only other thing in that area is caldera priory and randompal's caldera mine. Any ideas? And thank you very much.

I'm so sorry, I found the issue. It's Imperial Cart redux. But you mentioning the northen cell narrowed it down!!! Tyvm!!!!!

This is great, I'm especially fond of the vanilla friendly rock option. Thanks so much.

I run BCOM already and was wondering if this can be installed midgame?

I'm pretty sure it'd be safe, since this mod mostly affects the physical terrain and landscape, rather than NPCs or quests. However, given that it affects a significant chunk of the exterior world, I can't guarantee it'd be safe. In your shoes, I would probably avoid installing it mid-game just to ensure you keep a stable game to use, but the choice is yours.

    Hi !

I've noticed a floating rock just behind Gnisis

    Here are the coordinates  : -82039 98481.4 2956.7

Ps : From which mod did you get the rock textures on the 4th image ?

Any info on what shader and cloud mod is used in the screenshot by 1mac?

Rothan Ancestral Tomb entrance is partially covered by one of the rocks this mod places.

Huh. I don't recall editing anything in that area, so it might be an issue with the base mod or one of the 'compatible versions' that I used as a base. I'll double check it, but thanks for the bug report!

So sorry for taking so long to update, but I should have this fixed in my next (1.2) update. I'm trying to figure out if I can incorporate 1Mac's vanilla-friendly rock meshes in my mod, or if I'll need to link to it as a separate download, but once I find out 1.2 will be uploaded.

The version with less poligons would be appreciated. These rocks look amazing in game but they hit performance hard.

On the 'Morrowind Modding Community' Discord, 1Mac recently released a 'Modestly Compatible Rocky West Gash' that includes replacement meshes so that all RWG rocks point to vanilla textures. Much better for performance, and a much better fit for vanilla aesthetics. I use 1Mac's mod (though I avoid his esp in favor of my own version) and load the meshes after BCOM RWG. Gives me the best of both worlds.

I tried it out and like it so far! My fps still drops below 30 in heavy areas like Ald Velothi but overall the game is now much smoother. And the rocks look decent with vanilla textures. You have my thanks for the advice.
