If you are experiencing crashes, make sure you are using the latest version of MGE XE. Older versions lack a fix for particle system handling which can make the game unstable.

I tried to download the version 3.0 but its only two esps and no mwse module, does this mean, 3.0 needs to be paired with the auto mswe version?

If you preview version 3.0 readme, it says it has core component 00, but that one does not exist, even the file size at barely 19k shows it is prolly a misplaced version

Shame, but guess Ill try the Auto version

?Seems to be a conflict with Vapourmist. Is there a way of fixing this on my end?

Hello! I am getting this warning just as I boot the game:
"One of the files that "Glowbugs BC.ESP" is dependent on has changed since the last save. This may result in errors. Saving again will clear this message
but not necessarily fix any errors."
Same warning for the Ascadian Isles one.
However, everything works just fine. The glowbugs are there, I can harvest them, everything seems ok.
I have OAAB Data activated btw
How can I fix whatever is giving me this warning? Thanks and I love this mod ^_^

The error is caused by updating OAAB_Data. You have two options to fix it:
      1) Open the mod's esp file in Construction Set with OAAB_Data.esm also loaded, and then save without changing anything.
      2) Use Wrye Mash to update master file information. On the mod list click on "Glowbugs BC.ESP" (it will be highlighted with yellow colour). On the right side you will see a list of master files, with OAAB_Data.esm also highlighted. Click anywhere on the master list - OAAB_Data.esm should change colour to green. Click save button on the bottom.

You have to do this every time you update OAAB_Data.

Hello, how should we place the ESP of the auto version to have the dialogues of the NPCs and the auto version ? the dialogues are no longer present when I add the auto version (before or after 3.0 .ESP ?)
Thank you for your work anyway ;)

Is there any chance you could make the red and violet glowbugs compatible with the non-auto version of the mod? They look great.

Well, they are compatible, it's just that the non-auto version is manually placed, and no-one has done that yet!
      Why not use MWSE?

New archive may be incomplete. Per readme file "00 Core - contains the mwse lua code", except there is no such folder and only Bitter Coast and Ascadian Isles modules.

Good catch on the verbiage. I'll fix that. But the archive is complete. The lua code is now contained in OAAB_Data.

Is there a work-around to make this compatible with OPENMW?

I've been working with someone on the OpenMW team to try and get them working in that engine. I'd say it's close so hopefully soon!

Thanks for clearing that up! There was a link on the Modding-OPENMW site Not Found! | Modding OpenMW: A guide to modding and modernizing Morrowind with OpenMW (modding-openmw.com) that lead to some confusion but it appears it has since been taken down...

Tried it and it looks really good! However imo it feels way overboard like there are just too many of them, especially high in the sky. Is it possible to have an option to adjust so there are fewer fireflies?

Also though not as important as above would it be possible to have option so they are always out even in daytime? I would just like some more insects and stuff in the air

Looks really good and I want to try it out! However is there some options for the other features? I am really only interested in having the glowbugs show up, I would like if it was possible to turn off the ability to pick them up or have new npc dialogue. Is that possible to remove somehow? Also if possible to have them appear every night would be nice since I play with very low timescale and it is very rare my character is awake at night as is so the times it is night it would be nice if the bugs are out..

Also would it be possible to have them show up even at day, but perhaps with no glow? Not sure how it would look like but I imagine some insects flying around like the bugs would add to immersion during the day also.
