Hmm this looks great but I don't use TR currently. So when I decides to do a playthrough with TR, I'll give this a go as I enjoy the crafting from Ashfall, and few others I am currently using. It's be nice having more to craft and do just to keep me enthralled in Morrowind even longer. I've added this to my tracked list though so it'll be easier to locate. Thanks for giving more ideas for a future playthrough.

We're currently working upon a non-TR version, as well. You'll still be able to craft everything, though travelling merchants' routes may differ and there's one quest that has to be quite different. This will be version 3.2 (it's slow going, tracking all of the changes that must be made).

Unfortunately, you are correct. The OpenMW team elected to implement their own version of Lua, and ignored the (several years' stnding) conventions that had been set up with MWSE Lua, which means that the scripts simply will not function in OpenMW. However, if you locate Morrowind Crafting 2.1, that *should* work, though at a much earlier level.

Hello and greetings! I just discovered your mod yesterday and HAD to put it in my load order. I can get it to run, but, upon starting up the game I am met with a few errors. First: Object "TR_S_m2_Galdalior" not found for dialogue type Topic Info  "EMPTY". Second: Unable to find script 'T_ScNpc_Mw_Guard' on object 'mc_ind_guard_quarry' (Morrowind Crafting 3.1a.ESP)'.

I tried setting up a different load order with just your mod and it's requirements, but still getting those messages. Any advice?

Cheers and gratz on making such an awesome looking mod!

Edit: found the bug report regarding this issue. gonna dig in to the weeds now!

Can anyone confirm that the Ashfall Masonry add-on works? I installed it correctly, the recipe shows up. However, when I attempt to create it, the recipe is just named "Block", doesn't list a difficulty, and doesn't list that magicka is required, and clicking it does nothing. No feedback, no failure message, no success. (I do have enough magicka, at least according to the .lua file)

Edit: Removing the magicka cost from the file fixed this.

I must be completely insane and done something wrong. But in Ald'ruhn I'm getting missing meshes on all the junky debri on tables near Skaar. I'm sure it's from this mod. I only downloaded the main file though.

Edit: apparently I didn't install the assets properly

I cannot, for the life of me, find the soul gem crafting teacher. I've gone to the town the rumors led me to, heard the instructions, and have been searching the areas between the two points mentioned, above and below water. Can I have another clue? Or maybe the exact location to make sure it didn't bug?

Ok, after about three hours of search, finally found it. For those who might want a hint, it's further out than you may think.

To be truthful, we did not want to make the quests *too* easy... the last few quests can be rather challenging for some.

How is one supposed to get slaughterfish filet normally? I've got some mods changing some drops for some creatures like Ashfall and OAAB Integrations, but I was curious if slaughterfish filet actually drops from slaughterfish or if you have to buy it.

Normally slaughterfish filets are added to the 'random_scales' levelled list, and can be found randomly in any creature that drops scales. If this levelled list is replaced by another mod, that can remove the possibility of finding slaughterfish filets in the wild. You can still find them at vendors, of course. You may want to use a levelled list merger.

Drop the lighting mount to the floor, then use the "Precision placement" object mover to move the mount to the ceiling. Install it there, then if you activate it, you get choices. Perfect Placement does not have anything to do with Morrowind Crafting. You can see a *complete* writeup of how to use Precision Placement in the readme file.

I've done a few of the quests in order to unlock the secret to crafting soul gems, and it says I've been provided with the knowledge of how to make some,  but there's no indication how to go about doing so other than a confirmation that I've learned to craft them.

Have you read what the writeup for the mod says about it? You'll need the crafting kit (the one that looks like an old-type doctor's handbag), and you can see what is needed by pointing at the picture of the soulgem that you want to make; a tooltip will show up, indicating what is needed and how much you have on you of each ingredient.

This works for all of the tools, by the way; the carpentry kit will show what woods and other materials are needed, and if you have enough of whatever material is required. The same with pottery, or metalworking, or cooking/sewing/smithing/etc.

This might be Answered somewhere already so im sorry if it has but im curious as to how we place items on say a weapon stand, like does the weapon stand have an inventory to place an item or do i need to adjust the weapon onto the stand itself, meaning the stand is just a visual prop and the weapon still needs placed and moved onto the prop? Great mod so far otherwise loving the RP

Also Bookshelves..... would love to be able to just put books on shelves?

To 'place' an item, set the item down and place your crosshairs upon it, then press 'home'. That activates the "precision placement" function. A small menu should appear in your upper left, which tells how to manipulate an object.. rotate, move, etc. When done, press 'end' and the item will stay where you placed it. Movement and rotation is very similar to how it works in the Construction Set. To help with aligning items, first select the object that you want to align with another, then point at the object that you want to align *to*, and press 'PgDown'. This will make the object you are moving orient itself just like the one that you pointed at, insofar as the X, Y and Z axes are concerned. That's how you can set up books nicely on bookshelves, tables, and so forth.
