So I assume the new TR update broke something? There are two errors when starting. Can't be sure it's from the new TR update because I just installed the mod for the first time today but it sure seems likely. Can I go find these files in the older version of Tamriel Data and put them back in myself maybe?

Object 'TR_S_m2_Galdalior' not found for dialogue type Topic info 'EMPTY'

"Unable to find Script" 'T_ScNPC_Mw_Guard' on object 'mc_ind_guard_quarry' (Morrowind Crafting 3.1)

Hum.. the Galdalior error is a known issue, reported by others, but I have not heard of that script error before. I've not yet downloaded the latest TR update, so will have to look into it.
With the prefix of "T_", it is certainly a TR issue, so if you are able, you should be able to copy that script and load it up in a "micro-mod", to make it available to the gamer engine; the TR team has demonstrated a number of times that they do not care what mods they break when they make changes.

Oh no! I've never made a mod of any kind before, that sounds difficult but I guess I'd be willing to give it a go if it's not too hard. I've opened the creation kit a single time and that was to look at some meshes that were crashing my Distant Land Generation for some reason and see what they were (some random grates in a ruined Dwemer city I think).

I really want to use this mod because it looks absolutely stunning, Its sad  to imagine how anyone downloading it for the first time now will be met with errors. Not that you should feel obligated to put your life on hold to fix it or anything like that, it's just sad what updates to stuff like TR can do to good mods. I suppose you could call it a necessary evil.

MC 3.2 is upcoming, at least for the Vvardenfell-only version; the TR ESP will follow after a time.

The mod seems to have a dialogue conflict. I'm experiencing a bug that's preventing me from freeing dunmer slaves (my current player character is a dunmer). Whenever I bring up the "go free" topic their response is "Go free? I do not have time for such nonsense. This place would fall apart without me." and I would not be able to free them. I had a look at it in the construction set, and the response is given if the player character is the same race as the slave. I think it's due to the game checking that variable first and thus giving the response in place of the usual dialogue to let them free, but I'm not sure. It's broken a  Tamriel Rebuilt quest I'm doing as a result. Are there ways to circumvent this?

Edit: Nevermind, I saw roxy's report and fix for the issue.

That's very strange. Do you have "page up", "page down" and "end" keys? If so, the home key should be very near them. I've never heard of a keyboard without one. You'd also find it very difficult to change the options of you don't page page-up, page-down, and youwouldn't be able to exit MCPP mode without an "end" key. I don't suppose you could snap a picture of your keyboard and send it to [email protected]? Perhaps it's labelled something different.
It may be possible that for the next version, I may be able to make an alternate activator and such... but it would be a lot of work.

Thank you for answering. I didn't have them, so i assigned new inputs to keys i wasn't using by using Power Toys( free on microsoft store).  F10 is now 'home' and F11 is now 'end' with the software solution. Thank you for you atention

Edit: Also, is there any integration between you cooking and Ashfall's? I really like the vibes of positioning ingredients over a pan to fry, and was wondering if there's a soluton to be able to use AshFall cooked ingredients on your recipies for more elaborated dishes.

Hum. I'm not certain as to using Ashfall's cooked items as ingredients; I'll have to look into that. (My next game will include Ashfall, so it should prove interesting.)
If those items have specific game-IDs, then it should be possible to make an add-in file to include them in new recipes.

Hmm this looks great but I don't use TR currently. So when I decides to do a playthrough with TR, I'll give this a go as I enjoy the crafting from Ashfall, and few others I am currently using. It's be nice having more to craft and do just to keep me enthralled in Morrowind even longer. I've added this to my tracked list though so it'll be easier to locate. Thanks for giving more ideas for a future playthrough.

We're currently working upon a non-TR version, as well. You'll still be able to craft everything, though travelling merchants' routes may differ and there's one quest that has to be quite different. This will be version 3.2 (it's slow going, tracking all of the changes that must be made).

Unfortunately, you are correct. The OpenMW team elected to implement their own version of Lua, and ignored the (several years' stnding) conventions that had been set up with MWSE Lua, which means that the scripts simply will not function in OpenMW. However, if you locate Morrowind Crafting 2.1, that *should* work, though at a much earlier level.

Hello and greetings! I just discovered your mod yesterday and HAD to put it in my load order. I can get it to run, but, upon starting up the game I am met with a few errors. First: Object "TR_S_m2_Galdalior" not found for dialogue type Topic Info  "EMPTY". Second: Unable to find script 'T_ScNpc_Mw_Guard' on object 'mc_ind_guard_quarry' (Morrowind Crafting 3.1a.ESP)'.

I tried setting up a different load order with just your mod and it's requirements, but still getting those messages. Any advice?

Cheers and gratz on making such an awesome looking mod!

Edit: found the bug report regarding this issue. gonna dig in to the weeds now!

Can anyone confirm that the Ashfall Masonry add-on works? I installed it correctly, the recipe shows up. However, when I attempt to create it, the recipe is just named "Block", doesn't list a difficulty, and doesn't list that magicka is required, and clicking it does nothing. No feedback, no failure message, no success. (I do have enough magicka, at least according to the .lua file)

Edit: Removing the magicka cost from the file fixed this.

I must be completely insane and done something wrong. But in Ald'ruhn I'm getting missing meshes on all the junky debri on tables near Skaar. I'm sure it's from this mod. I only downloaded the main file though.

Edit: apparently I didn't install the assets properly

I cannot, for the life of me, find the soul gem crafting teacher. I've gone to the town the rumors led me to, heard the instructions, and have been searching the areas between the two points mentioned, above and below water. Can I have another clue? Or maybe the exact location to make sure it didn't bug?

Ok, after about three hours of search, finally found it. For those who might want a hint, it's further out than you may think.

To be truthful, we did not want to make the quests *too* easy... the last few quests can be rather challenging for some.

How is one supposed to get slaughterfish filet normally? I've got some mods changing some drops for some creatures like Ashfall and OAAB Integrations, but I was curious if slaughterfish filet actually drops from slaughterfish or if you have to buy it.

Normally slaughterfish filets are added to the 'random_scales' levelled list, and can be found randomly in any creature that drops scales. If this levelled list is replaced by another mod, that can remove the possibility of finding slaughterfish filets in the wild. You can still find them at vendors, of course. You may want to use a levelled list merger.
