This mod requires two items according to Wyre Mash, which are mentioned in the description. I am glad you listed that it could run without them, however I'd recommend stating that you can remove their requirements via Wyre Mash. It's a simple and quick fix to the mod. It may complain that some master files weren't selected when you go to update it's master list, click ok through it all then hit save, thus removing those two master files. I hope this helps anyone who uses Wyre Mash and sees them listed as being master files. Over all the house is really nice and helpful for new players.
Thanks so much for this comment! I didn't know you could do that, I use MO2 instead of Wyre Mash but have been thinking I need to convert so I can clean saves and a few other things. But it is a bit of a learning curve as a program. Next time I do a fresh install I'm planning on converting. Regardless, I will add this fix of yours to my mod description. Cheers!
Question, When i downloaded this mod (which is super useful btw lol) I got to the house and it was locked and I had to literally break into the house. Everything is showing up red (like if I took something it would be considered stealing). I'm a little paranoid that I'll lose my stuff If I use the chest provided.
Breaking into the locked door fit with my roleplaying, and I never actually changed that for it when I uploaded it here! Definitely will consider changing this if I ever get to it. As to the items showing up red, are these items that you have placed yourself in game? In the containers? Or just on the floor, desk etc? My wardrobe in my game shows up with the red hand as well. I don't know if items stored inside are then marked as stolen or not. You could try testing this by saving the game, then getting caught by the guards for a crime and seeing if the item has been claimed as a result of being marked as 'stolen'. The containers should be safe for storage as in that they are set to not respawn.
I've downloaded this and the house looks lovely, but for some reason when I enter the front door it spawns me on top of the cell. There's no way for me to actually get into the house without noclipping through.
Hi there, I'm sorry you're having an issue with this. I'm not a very experienced modder so am honestly not sure why that's happening. If you're familiar with using the Construction Kit at all you could load in my plugin and try to check the cell ID for the door. Otherwise I have no idea sorry. It works perfectly in my game. If you are using any mods that alter Balmora at all this could contribute to a compatibility issue.
I haven't installed this yet but, based on the screenshots, it seems like an airy, cheery, habitation. The domestic articles give it a welcoming look. I can imagine my PC waking up to the bright, clear lighting, and jumping out of bed, ready to embrace the day. (Or the Day-goth Ur.)
This won't load for me. Says it cant find the correct version for a master file it depends on. I'm using Morrowind GOTY fully updated. No idea how to fix it.
I'm sorry this doesn't work for you. I'm a terribly inexperienced modder so unfortunately cannot offer much help. I have Tamriel Rebuilt installed so it may be referring to these master files; Tamriel_Data.esm and TR_Mainland.esm. I have not used any TR resources but they were active in the Construction Kit when I made some final changes to the mod. You could try downloading the reduced furnishings option in the files section and see if that works for you.
