I have something similar in mind: rather than create new items add to existing (rare) looted items' description a short info reminding from whom it was looted. In the end it's also some kind of a trophy. Is there such a mod?
The mod that I've been waiting for since childhood :D But it seems to me not very logical to take the skull without taking the brain and eyes. I rewrote a little for myself to take the whole head at once :)
Suggestion: Would it be possible to allow a char to take a less gruesome trophy? Maybe a snip of hair or an scrap piece of armor. For those chars who want to take trophy's of small victory's but with less gruesome implications.
Unfortunately, I'm limited by my lack of modelling skills. If there's a resource out there for a scrap of hair I could use, however, it would be easy to add due to how things aren't hardcoded.
You might reuse the marshmerrow or kresh fiber models with new textures, say something dark brownish or something and just reason that it doesn't match the persons hair colour cause its soaked with their blood or something.
It does not currently support OpenMW, as it requires MWSE, which is only available for the regular game. I know the OpenMW team is working on an implementation of lua, and depending on how that works out, it may be compatible in the future.
Does what it says on the tin. Used in a recent play through to take trophies when my freed slave fought back against their masters. Was a nice way to have something unique to remember that moment by. Can see also being used for Hunter type chars in the future.
That's strange, the resource I used for skulls (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46054?tab=description) uses vanilla textures with all its models. Do the base game skulls have texture problems for you, too?
most have the textures just the Orcish and house Dagoth one with a caved in face (that's probably a terrible description but I don't know how else to describe it).
Thanks for the fix - I'll upload a version using those files now. Since I took the files from this resource, you may want to inform the author of that, also. Since I didn't tamper with the files in any way, the versions from that resource will probably have that error too (unless I just fucked it up somehow, which is pretty likely, all things considered).

Update 1: Problem was that the skull was pointing to tx_skeleton_skull_misc instead of just tx_skeleton_skull. Will upload the fix soon.
Update 2: Many other meshes suffered from the same problem. Here is the link for the fixes. Enjoy!
