I was having graphical issues with the vanilla CS in Windows 11, so I tried out this version. The dark mode version doesn't seem to work, displaying the regular white UI with borked icons. Not so much a problem with the improved UI CS itself, but a heads up for anyone else who might be using Windows 11. The light mode version seems to be working fine, sans graphical issues that are the fault of windows 11.
tl;dr windows 11 is bad and whatever cs version you use is going to be borked by it (though light mode might be the least borked).
EDIT: Using Adjust ClearType Text has alleviated some problems, as well as messing with DPI settings in the properties of the .exe.
I'm on Windows 11 Professional myself and I've no problems with default CS.
Edit: Ah, I'm on on Windows 11 Home. I didn't pay attention what version I'm downloading from Microsoft. I wonder, why then my windows is even activated if I have a key for the professional version. But still, Default CS works just fine for me. I've Steam version.
there are instructions for making the dark mode work on the bottom of the description page, the icons are just adjusted to fit with the dark mode. Also not sure what graphical issues are you encountering, since I'm on W11 also and its working fine for me (vanilla and Better UI)
I don't know if it's something in my configuration, but the NPC window runs off the bottom of my monitor and I can't access the bottom of the Skill list or any of the buttons at the bottom. I checked as I was typing this. My display scale is currently set to 125%. If I change it to 100% I can see the entire NPC window, although the text is small.
When I open either exe it starts with the warning "Texture Load Error!: Textures\_land_default.tga" when I click through it to run it anyways, the environment window shows nothing. What can I do to fix this?
It seems like it's not recognizing your Morrowind install folder. If you extracted modified CS to your Morrowind folder and this keeps happening, you can try running it as administrator.
This is awesome. Thanks for putting this out there. I'll take part in the echo chamber and add a darker UI option to the wishlist. The eye strain is murder when you use it for hours.
Any plans on giving a similar treatment to the Oblivion CS or Skyrim's CK? I love utility mods like these.
- it's possible in making all windows resizable, but their contents wouldn't be resized with the window, so i don't think there was a point in enabling that, - i tried making all columns' widths bigger, but it seems like its hardcoded, couldn't change that
Edits/hacks like these are always greatly appreciated and I'm really liking this one. I didn't notice any difference in load times between this and the vanilla cs. The two biggest things I've always wanted (if you're taking requests/ideas) is a dark/night mode and an ability to resize ALL windows, mainly dialogue ones. Just a dark/night mode alone would be a dream come true and a godsend for a large portion of the community. Either way thanks for this.
as for the asset cataloguing, im afraid i cant do that without source code, im only able to do visual changes for the most part with the program that im using
IMPORTANT UPDATE: regarding Dark Mode, you can achieve that by enabling High Contrast mode in your Windows settings. More info about that in the description, also added a new image showcasing that.

Here's my wishlist
- Dark Mode
- A means of cataloguing the assets, instead of one massive list.
So for example I could filter out just *Interior *Dunmer *statics etc.
Thanks.
