Simple upscales for the buildings in Caprice for the Doors of Oblivion mod. Plus extras.

Doors of Oblivion is a fantastic mod. But god knows the buildings in Caprice needed some work.
The main file covers the Caprice residential building textures, both interiors and exteriors, which have been upscaled to your choice of either 2k or 4k using Gigapixel AI. Also covered is the burnt ground texture and the ruined building texture on the island near Caprice.I have a solidly mid-range PC and did not notice any significant performance difference between 2k and 4k. However, please use the 2k if your framerate takes a hit.

The extras are various upscaled rock and landscape texture upscales that have been uploaded by request. YMMV, these textures are experimental attempts to try and mitigate some of the issues that Doors of Oblivion has with ground texture scaling without getting into the world of mesh edits (really, the proper fix would require some textures to be remade and the associated objects to have their UV's completely redone ... and the Nirvana solution would involve new objects and .ESP edits. All of which are outside the scope of what I'm willing to do). The experimental textures are provided as-is. They mainly touch Caprice, The Colored Rooms, and Mania in the Shivering Isles. Some may have have texture seams or may cause performance issues. Please back up the original files before trying these. You have been warned.

Installation: Unzip the file into your Morrowind\Data files directory. Overwrite. Or, if you're using a mod loader, make sure that my files are taking priority over DoO.

Disclaimer: All credit for Doors of Oblivion goes to Ashstaar, of course. A few attempts to contact Ashstaar have been made but he was unable to be reached for permission to release these. Ashstaar, please contact me if you would like me to take these files down.
