Getting a huge amount of log spam all of a sudden. Log was nearly 30MB of mostly this kind of stuff:

Error in event callback: .\Data Files\MWSE\mods\virnetch\protectivehelmets\main.lua:154: attempt to index field 'sourceInstance' (a nil value)
    stack traceback:
    .\Data Files\MWSE\core\lib\event.lua:294: in function '__index'
    .\Data Files\MWSE\mods\virnetch\protectivehelmets\main.lua:154: in function <.\Data Files\MWSE\mods\virnetch\protectivehelmets\main.lua:153>
    [C]: in function 'xpcall'
    .\Data Files\MWSE\core\lib\event.lua:311: in function 'trigger'

Sorry about that, should be fixed in the latest version.

Is there a way to target the raising hand animation when in an ash storm? If so it would be great to stop this animation when your wearing a helmet as that is why the inhabitants of Morrowind wear eyeware.Maybe even remove the speed slowdown as incentive to put on the mask.

Thanks for this (and all of your excellent mods). Just a minor nitpick: could there be a way to hide the spell effect (the restoration sparkles)? It's no big deal since the sound effect is already muted.

Great mod, but I wonder why it doesn't detect the standard Telvanni Cephalopod helm as a closed one.

Are you sure you haven't blacklisted the helmet or some mod that modifies it? For me it detects it correctly in the vanilla game. If the helmet is not showing up in the MCM Blacklist either, then there might be some mod that is removing/changing the head slot of the helmet, like the Open Helmets mod or something similar, in which case the helmet would have to be separately whitelisted.

You're right, I do have Open Helmets installed, so whitelisting the plugin did the trick. Thanks!

Your mods are consistently gold, and this one is no different.
