I reached the end of the quest, and I have duplicates of all of the companions still following me around.

Sounds like you may have used the console or a mod conflict.

I'm using MOMW's Total Overhaul. Looking at the modlist, if I had to guess, I'd say Attend Me is probably the source of the issue.

It's an interior as exterior cell like Mournhold, there are no conflicts.

Is there a way to get out of the tunnels of the voiceless, prison chamber - the room with the spider webs? I managed to kill the Ash Ruiner in there, but now I can't work out how to open the gate to progress.

The Pyramid head helm and sword are too heavy :( I also found the boss fights with the 2 that jump around constantly to avoid the traps was very hard, maybe I am missing something, but I was stuck for a long while. Great atmosphere though!

Edit: Finally beat the last boss (2 ruiners in the arena), not really sure what the issue was, they just kept jumping around and avoiding the traps and it was really hard to get them to where they needed to be, but after much levitation, invisibility, and luck, I got them! I take back what I said about the items being too heavy, as I found out many of the items are in the ship once liberated on Dagon Fel. Very impressive mod, although hard, I can say it was quite well made!

Just a tip, this mod can actually be done without any combat at all. It was designed for a full pacifist play through if you choose.

Is there a guide? I got stuck. The one-shotting enemies are brutal.

Another thing to add and I don't know when or if you'll get back to me since I left a bug report but, for some reason the hook doesn't work on ash ruiner.

Great horror mod with stellar area design, creepy atmosphere and creative boss fights. You pretty much have to use environmental kills to take down the bosses but how you achieve them is up to the player.

    Only complaints I have are:

    • The optional boss fight where the environmental object mechanics (shooting the spider webs) did not work on the boss.
    • Misleading quest step where you have to use the "crusher" which is actually the chain next to the anvil, instead of the Sixth House Crusher weapon located in the same room.

Fun, great level design and environment, scripts were also quite good and bossfights with pyramideheads were pretty nice

Unfortunately, writing isn't the best and tries too hard to be touching sad story, but fails. Otherwise pretty fun experience.

Played with Silent Hill ost on and it felt insaney good.

Having just finished this mod, my review is that, unfortunately, I did not like it. Which is a shame, because I LOVE the Astrologian's Guild.

First, the positives. It's clear that the mod maker poured a lot of effort into this mod. The locations are intricately designed, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Horror is hard to do in a game like Morrowind, but this came very close to it. There are a lot of places to explore, and a lot of rewards for doing so. So that's all great.

Unfortunately, this mod is also extremely difficult. I think unfairly so. My Level 20 character used up all their potions and scrolls, and I eventually had to turn on God Mode just to progress. And then I still died because of scripted instant-kills. Given that teleportation was disabled (with no explanation why), this was a very frustrating situation. I know this mod is advertised for allowing a pacifist run, but that seems virtually impossible to me. And I wasn't able to find a single environmental kill, but maybe that was just me not being smart enough.

It's fine for mods to be difficult, but there's only so many invincible opponents I can take in one dungeon. And disabling teleportation means I basically had to use cheats, or else give up on my character.

Finally, I found the whole premise of the mod to be immersion breaking. If the Sixth House has a massive base, with multiple invincible creatures, you'd imagine that would impact the main quest a little bit. I think that mod would have worked more seamlessly as some sort of unique daedric cult instead.

Also there seemed to be a glitch in the mod. I wasn't able to smash the ash statue, no matter how hard I tried. My game also crashed a few times in the dungeon, but that may not have been the mod's fault.

I see from the posts here that lots of people played this mod and enjoyed it. Which is great! But I didn't, and I won't be using it in my next playthrough.

Just to clear up some things for the readers...

There are no insta-kill traps. I think those are unfair and never put them in my mods. Only collision damage is used.

This mod can be completed entirely without combat, for the one fight mid-mod there is a companion you can rely on, everything else can be skipped or ran through if you choose. All bosses can be killed with the environment, some fairly easily.

There's a bit of lore that explains powerful creatures, and why they aren't used on Vvardenfell. The island uses pirates and smugglers to move goods for the Sixth House, something that is part of the ingame lore.

The ash statue isn't glitched, you simply put it in the anvil and pull the chain.
