About this mod
Lesser works of the Dwemer are rarely known about, what stories stand the test of time are considered myth and legend. Career artifact hunters scoff and laugh at ametuer hunters driven by dreams of legends and fables of the unknown. Few know the myths, fewer believe them, but the endless slopes of Red Mountain hold secrets vailed in wind and dust.

Chapter 1: Fiction to Fact
The legendary Omnidex is said to hold the knowledge for one to enchant an object with more soul power than ever thought to be possible by a mortal being. A lesser known Dwemer artificer and researcher was working on the project to assist in lifting the Dwemer race to a higher existence as well as raise his own status within the Dwemer culture. Scholars insist even if such knowledge exists, the ability to handle such power is not something normal beings have and could be catastrophic if used.
This mod is a combo of quest line and unique jewelry items. It's a short questline that sends the player out hunting through missions, dungeons and creatures to discover the secrets of the Omnidex. Due to locations and creatures involved it's suggested to be run by medium to high level characters. There are plans to have at least 3 chapters at the moment, with a new addition to the story as well as accompanying unique items. I’m trying to keep major story spoilers out of the top description, if you want specific details about the Items, scroll to the bottom of the page.
*Hint: To get the quest started you'll need to speak to a friendly enchanting service.
Requires Morrowind GOTY (Morrowind,Tribunal,Bloodmoon)
Works with OpenMW (what i use to play)
Any issues found please let me know so i can fix or update compatibility
Extract the files into your Morrowind/Data Files folder. The textures and mesh files should drop into their correct folders automatically, as with all .esp files, make sure it is “check” active in your list before playing.
Can be added to existing saves with no issues.
Obvious big shout out to Bethesda for this being available.

The mod gives you three jewelry items at the end of the quest: OmniRing, OmniAmulet, and OmniBelt. All three items have four times the enchantment capacity as exquisite items allowing you to create your own custom artifacts. They do not offset the cost of enchanting.
The Omnidex itself doesn't teach you how to enchant anything with more power, that being part of the myth, it is just the “engineering journal” for how they were created as well as “other notes” that will come up in future chapters.
