Any recommendations to settings changes which might make the animations smoother? I'm getting some moderate stuttering, but that might just be how it is supposed to look. I'm running a pretty strong rig.
This is awesome but I am seeing a lot of stuff that says the recommended resolution for Morrowind is 1366x768 so I am guessing this won't work? I am using OpenMW.
Is there a way to change the resolution of a .bik file? If so maybe I customize it to work at 1366x768. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
Not that this is helpful to you now, but for others RAD Video Tools allows for conversion to .bik and resizing/compression/cropping ect. of bink videos.
It could be helpful to compress it for lower end devices. The website has some helpful, albeit outdated, benchmarks along with the guide. I don't notice much of a difference at 40% compression.
Help! For some reason my game won't play any menu videos at all! I've tripple checked Morrowind Code Patch to make sure hi-def cutscenes are enabled, tried many different menu video files and no luck! Anyone know what the deal could be? I'd love to have these working in my game...
Check your MGE XE version, I think there was an issue with version 0.14.0 because I had the same problem. Theres a 0.14.1 update now that should hopefully fix it.
Went randomly looking for new menu backgrounds, and when I came across this one, I immediately fell in love. Wanted to say, absolutely outstanding job. And, no fps loss on my system, and it just fits the menu music. Super nice work!

As an aside I believe my late friend who introduced me to the game on the original XBox, almost 20 years ago, would have been impressed too, and he was a hard bugger to please.
For the life of me I can't get this one to work. I have MCP installed with Hi-Def Cut scenes enabled which is what I think HD video is I can't seem to find anything else HD
No that I am aware of, but honestly, I do not research videos or animations based on Skyrim. I like the game but my modding efforts are all towards Morrowind.

Also, what is exactly the issue? You do not see the video at all? is the wrong ratio?
