About this mod

This is a modders resource pack containing remastered versions of Morrowind's spell icons. In order to create larger icons, I remade the originals using vector graphics (included in the SVG folder), then exported them at various sizes that might be useful.

Jacey's Vector Icons
v1.1.1

This is a modder's resource pack containing remastered versions of Morrowind's spell icons. In order to create larger icons, I remade the originals using vector graphics (included in the SVG folder), then exported them at various sizes that might be useful.

The stone texture (used for the textured "casting" versions of the icon) is 2048x2048, and so should look OK up to that resolution.
The files are named after their corresponding file names in Textures\icons\s, spelling errors, duplications, and inconsistencies intact. If I have introduced any spelling errors of my own (or accidentally corrected one of Bethesda's) please let me know.

If you want a mod that implements these icons in-game, with either MWSE or OpenMW, please search for Big Icons on the Nexus, or wherever fine mods are not sold.

Changelog

1.1.1 Added four missing icons, which had their export paths messed up by a bug with Inkscape.

1.1 Greatly reduced the file size by putting all of the icons in one file and using the stone texture as a pattern. Additionaly, this makes re-exporting them a breeze. Also corrected some problems and added a missing icon, pointed out by hokan42.

1.0.1 Added the missing Summon Frost Atronach icons. I had actually made the icon, but I never put it in its own file, so it got missed when I did the exporting. Thanks to hokan42 at the Nexus for pointing it out.

Credit and Thanks:

Bethesda Softworks for the original spell icon designs, which I consider to be some of the best designed icons in video games.
dongle, whose Oblivion Daedric Font provided the basis for remaking these icons in vector format. It is, to my knowledge, the best available Daedric font. The alternative, hosted on DaFont, has at least one conspicuous error, found in the letter "H", which features quite prominently in all the spell icons related to attributes.
Isaskar, whose Pelagiad font is a true-type clone of the Magic Cards font used in Morrowind. I used this font in images on the Nexus page.
Kuzja80, whose TexA-DDS application made converting all of these images to the DDS format simple and fast.
The people of the Morrowind Modding Community Discord server, who encouraged me to continue working on this project.
DarkElfGuy, for running the Morrowind May Modathon, and the Morrowind Modding Showcases channel.
The stone texture was modified from an image on pinterest, claiming to be taken from ftextures, which now seems to be a dead site. I am not entirely sure what their permissions were. Use at your own risk.
