Part of the May Modathon Month

A discussion topic that comes up very frequently concerning the lore of Morrowind is the question of currencies. How comes that there is gold, with the face of Tiber Septim and the Imperial Dragon everywhere, when there was a time when Morrowind was not part of the Empire? What did they use before that? Why are there Dwemer coins in Dwemer ruins, but no old Dunmer coins in ancestral tombs and similar?

Well, according to a text by MK, the Dunmer used a currency named "Dram" before Imperial gold was introduced. This mod adds Drams into the game, and *some* NPCs would offer Drams as quest rewards instead of gold. Mostly native Dunmer, who are xenophobic and hate the Empire, and members of the criminal underworld. Whether they do it out of ideological reasons (they do not want to use the n'wah money) or they scam you (an outlander n'wah) by giving you worthless junk, is up to your interpretation.

The value of one Dram in this mod is one Imperial gold. You can sell it to the merchants of the game, however, depending on your mercantile skill, and disposition you might not get the nominal value of your Drams. For the sake of those who want to have an easier time, I have also added one particular noble NPC who collects ancient coins, she would exchange your Drams for their nominal value, but only in bulks.

For now, I didn't want this mod to be over the top, so you can get Drams for the following quests:

Rabinna's Inner Beauty: If you deliver Rabinna, or she dies on the way, but you deliver the Moon Sugar to Vorar Helas.

The Drunken Bounty Hunter: If you side with Daric Bielle.

Liberate the Limeware: If you side with Alarvyne Indalas.

The Warlords (Tribunal): For each of the targets that you have to assassinate.

Additions to consider in future updates (I do not promise that there will be future updates, but if there will be, then I would like to implement these things):

- Actually give a unique texture for the Dram. For now, it has the same texture as the Imperial gold: as long as you don't use some replacer it should be fine, it cannot really be seen that Tiber Septim's face on it, it's such a low-quality texture, lol. I cannot really make such things, but let me know if you feel inspired to do it.

- Integrate it better with the world: Maybe the Morag Tong and the Camonna Tong (through the Fighters' Guild questline) should always pay in Drams, as opposed to these few instances that we have right now. I'm really not sure about this, after all, money is money, even if you belong to such a faction. For now, it can be taken as a few very fanatic Dunmer nationalists who still use Drams/criminals who want to scam you with worthless money, I'm not sure if the concept would work on a bigger scale.

- Also, replace gold with Drams in places, such as ancestral tombs, Sixth House bases, ancient Dunmer strongholds and so on, where it wouldn't really make sense that the Imperial gold is present. Since it would be a tedious job, and a compatibility nightmare, I'm once again looking for help: let me know if you could throw some script together (Maybe MWSE?) for me that could achieve this easily.

This mod is clean, bug-free, should be compatible with pretty much everything.
