Hey ShadowMimicry. I recently used this mod and I updated the textures. I upscaled them, adjusted them by hand and compressed them back down so computers won't cry. I'd like to show you how I did and wanted to know if I could upload it on nexus crediting you for the original work. This is just a retexture. I didn't touch the meshes.
Your device specs might help answer that question. The mod itself is not the cause per se, it's merely a mesh and texture replacer, no esp, so it points more to something on your end.
My favorite tree mod for BC by far, but like some people comment below I found the bark texture unsatisfying. Finally decided to make my own, the SM Bitter Coast Bark Replacer. This mod is of course a requirement as all I do is replace the bark textures and normals. Thanks Shadow for a great tree mod!
These are very, very nice and work wonderfully with Mistify. I'd love to see a version that uses vanilla textures for the bark so they could benefit from higher res textures like MET.
Using this in conjunction with the Alternative Textures mod. I like this a lot more than Vurt's Bitter Trees for several reasons; these are a lot closer to vanilla, they aren't obscenely tall, and most importantly, they don't hammer my GPU like Vurt's does. Stellar work my dude.
Thanks you so much:] I conducted a lot of tests to make sure that these models are "lighter" than vanilla ones. Moreover, they even give some increase in fps, relative to vanilla assets. I'm thinking about updating this pack and releasing a new pack for other regions.

Would anyone know the reason?
Original: By far my favorite tree replacer for a vanilla feel, the only thing I really want would be a normal map for this mod.
I have tried changing some of them manually - but with very mixed results.
These are awesome - now I need the same done for other regions!
