Could you add a mesh replacer for the Vanilla models? That would enable this nice-looking ivy in other mods (although without your careful placement) without needing to alter said mods. I noticed that someone suggested you to add your ivy to Tamriel Rebuilt, but I know from experience that is a pain to maintain changes in object placement between versions.
I'd forgotten what the vanilla ivy looked like, so given the name I had initially wondered... Nooo, this can't be what the modded version looks like, the vanilla version looks too good. But then, the name is vibrant... It can't be. Thankfully, I was wrong! I'm just... kind of amused. The name had me thinking the vanilla version was the updated one. Thankfully, I quickly got to some screenshots that made it clear that that was not the case. Phew! Perhaps my expectations of your work are high, but... Yes. Anyway, very glad to have this in my game, it's such an improvement.
Hi, tx_metal_strip_01.dds is a vanilla texture. I just downloaded this mod again and double checked and the mesh Ivy_hang2.nif is clearly pointing to textures\tx_metal_strip_01.dds
Simply redownload this mod and reinstall it, it should fix the issue.
Am I understanding correctly, that support must be included in this mod in order for ivy in other mods to also be replaced? That's what I gather from the description, anyway.
Aw....but I can see why, since it's not just the same mesh being repeated like the vanilla ivy. Any plans for TR support, at least? It looks like the ivy must be hand placed, and that's a lot of ground to cover, so if TR won't be touched that's totally understandable.
Does this only affect the base game + expansion or other areas as well?
The 00 Core (Vibrant Ivy.ESP) seems to affect at least some interiors (contrary to the description).
I saw the new ivy when inside the Balmora South Wall cornerclub. I was using the "Atmospheric South Wall Cornerclub" mod and noticed (when doing tcl) that there was some ivy floating around outside of the interior - it was not present when disabling Vibrant Ivy. I'm assuming that this was due to differences in the interior layout or a change from BCoM?
This additional ivy seems cause of some sever fps drops, in one specific corridor section, when using OpenMW 0.46 - for some reason there was a LOT of physics (collision) calculations going on when standing in that corridor section and facing outwards (vaguely towards the floating ivy) - so unchanged interiors would be nice.
The Southwall corner club issue seems to be gone with 1.1.1. I also checked exteriors and interiors shown in the screenshots, as well as some other places that I could think of when using: * 00 Core * 02 Trellis addon
I didn't find any other fps issues.
I also realized that Imperial Towns - Revamp contains some rather high quality replacers for flora_ivy_01.nif and flora_ivy_02.nif (the vanilla ivy meshes), these come in handy in Tamriel Rebuilt and some other cases when ivy from Vibrant Ivy gets mixed with regular ivy.

As stated, it replaces every instance of ivy in the game. The base game places some ivy in interiors too.
The south wall corner club mod changes the layout so it requires a patch for this.
Collision was still present on some of the models, should be gone now.
