I love her so much! :D After hearing multiple times that she can use scrolls or learn spells from them, etc. I guess it's just a joke since I can't find anything about it here? Thank you for making my current playthrough so much more enjoyable! <3
The spells thing is an engine-level A.I. quirk found in creature based companions. If they have a 'cast-on-use' item (or a spell scroll) in inventory, they will use it at least once per combat.
Disregarding that, Kolka has a few utility spells that are built-in as convenience features: Some regeneration, the ability to cure a few select status ailments automatically, and the ability to levitate and water-walk.
Thanks for using my mod! I'm glad you're having a good time with it.
I didn't know that! But I think that's not present in my OpenMW install. Never used a single potion, scroll or enchanted item for me. I took a look at the scripts and adjusted them a little. I found her to be practically invincible even after turning off the health regen. Maybe due to the 50 armor rating (character having 50 agility and 50 endurance). Is there a reason why you added the +65 for the stats menu on that?
Isn't Kol_ArmorBonus capped at 100 in KolkaLevel? If ( Kol_ArmorBonus >= 100 ) Set Kol_ArmorBonus to 100 Plus 65 would be 165. How do you get 115? Thanks for the educational responses! :D
Oh! That's right, It's 165 armor now. The 115 value was from a previous version.
The way that Morrowind calculates armor for creatures varies somewhat between the unpatched (straight vanilla), patched(MCP/MGEXE), and OpenMW versions of the executable. People playing on certain versions had a Kolka with much lower defense that I had intended. So, I upped the relevant values to the numbers used in my straight-up Pack Companions (Paxon, Tetra, and Henwen), who are all very "tanky" by design.
So the equivalent armor set when Kolka is at max is Glass armor now, as opposed to the previous (more thematic) Snow Wolf armor.
Tried installing using Vortex, and manually moving files into the data folder and doesn't seem to work for OpenMW. At least for me it doesn't. I only downloaded the Black file version to avoid messing around with multiple .esp file.
edit: Nevermind. It does work. I was looking in the Rothan Tomb, rather than the Rethan Tomb.
Hi, I'm having the same problem after manually installing Worg version. The game complained about Kolka's textures being missing when I entered Rethan ancestral tomb. I have no idea where to find the "md_worg_fur" and "md_worg_body" textures the mesh points to. The only requirements mentioned are Bloodmoon and Tribunal, but neither BSA contains the textures needed. Where can I find them ?
1. Your notes indicate you expect the User to have a choice of what colour wolf in the Data Files when starting the game. No, Vortex installs the Black Wolf and if you want something different you need to do it manually. Adding the correct colour esp and installing-copying the Meshes. 2. 'difficult to kill', HA! Wolf died in a Level one combat because I hadn't set 'durable'. Looked and saw no way to resurrect Wolf, so had to do the entire install process all over again. Not optimal. 3. Durable Wolf should be helpful. Still, unless there is some way to resurrect her you haven't documented or I couldn't find, if she does die, I will have to do the entire uninstall - reinstall dance to get her back, not optimal.

Maxed-out, Kolka only has about 115 armor total, which isn't that much in the scheme of things.
Once you begin to face stronger foes, she's actually quite squishy. But, feel free to adjust things to your taste if you're comfortable doing so.
Good luck!

EDIT: I even tried Worg version with NMM, and it didn't work. It's just purple wolfie...
Download the individual archive for whatever color/model you wanted and navigate into the 'Kolka the Wolf' (color) folder of the archive.
(You will need the 7zip file archive manager for this step, it is located at 7-zip.org. It's free!)
There is a folder in there labeled 'Data Files'. This contains all of the files needed for that version of the companion.
Unzip this folder to your Morrowind directory, then select the .esp file in your launcher. Only use one .esp!
Enjoy your new, non-purple doggo.
