While I really like this, I don't think it fits as the Ebony Mail. If it's not too much trouble, I would request a version where this can just show up in shops like WARES and maybe as loot.
I always liked medium armor the best, and I think this is the best-looking armor mesh anywhere, period. Ever since I put it up I've gone out on my way to do Tribunal Temple for every character, no matter how much sense it'd make. Even my sneak-thieves tend to go with medium armor nowadays.
You can delete cape in nifscope if you don't like it
I recommend just including it as an optional mesh as:
* Nifskope may not run on some of the platforms supported by OpenMW (macOS/Linux/Windows/Android). * Nifskope is also likely to be a bit confusing for someone who has never used it.
Did you by chance do this for yourself already? If so, could you consider droppin' it here with a dropbox link or something? I reeeeally wanted to use this with my Indoril pauldrons if it doesn't clip too badly.
Just in case anyone is searching the comments, Nifskope runs on all those platforms aside from Android (and who the heck would be doing thier modding on android is beyond me).
For some reason, the replacer isn`t working for me.I put everything in data files and activated the .esp, but the ebony mail´s still the vanilla version(sorry for spelling, english is not my native language)(i use steam GOTY version)
