NOTE: The prices within this mod are “hard-coded”, and they are balanced around my own personal ongoing playthrough, which uses the Harder Barter mod. This mod drastically reduces the amount of money the player can earn by selling loot, which has a “knock on” effect throughout the player’s entire financial situation, including the buying and selling of enchanted items. Consequently, I personally recommend using both mods together.

This mod rebalances the cost of enchanted items in Morrowind to better reflect their value to both the player and the in-game world, primarily by increasing the value on enchanted items which seemed to be badly underpriced. For instance, most of the enchanted amulets, belts, and rings have an original price of only a few septims. This leads to situations in which, for example, passage on a silt strider or ship can be more costly than a magic ring that produces fireballs.

Prices this low have negative effects on the game in several ways; they make buying such items meaninglessly trivial, selling such items effectively pointless, and finding such items as loot insignificant beyond personal use.

The rebalanced prices within this mod address all three of these issues; purchasing enchanted items now requires careful consideration, selling unwanted enchanted items is a meaningful source of coin, and, as a consequence, looting enchanted items in dungeons is noteworthy.
