For anyone else trying to get this mod to work: For me k_weather louder will only work if normal k_weather esp isn't deleted from the data files (normal k_weather doesn't need to be activated, just don't delete it), load k_weather louder after normal k_weather and voilá

Thank you so much. Without your advice about using both files, I probably would have assumed this mod did not work. I can now hear weather inside.

The indoor rain effect continues for me even when I'm several cells away and outside/slept.

Also, do we need both files, or just the updated one? (cleaner and updated)

Are you supposed to be able to hear the rain inside? If so, I cannot hear any. Don't think I can hear any of the ambient weather inside.. Using OpenMW ver 0.47.0.

I disabled all my mods and tried it with just vanilla + the mod.. still did not work. Does this only work on new saves perhaps?

    **EDIT***
Got it working!! Think it had to do with the plug-in load order..
Got it working through mlox.exe load order setter. Source: Release 1.1.5 · rfuzzo/mlox · GitHub
Download the .exe and drop it into your morrowind game folder path: (e.g. C:\games\morrowind)
Run from cmd prompt via: mlox.exe --gui --local

Can't get the console commands or weather wand to work. They don't seem to stop the weather noises inside Minabi cave (near suran)?

Why does it add a blowing wind sound to the normal rain? And then when I go inside I don't even hear the rain, just the wind that was added by the mod.

I tried this out with OpenMW 0.46 - I didn't hear any sound inside most types of buildings, perhaps this is because I use "Project Atlas" that replaces a bunch of house meshes. Perhaps this mod does not recognize these new meshes as "entries" to interiors that should have sound?

It could be a conflict from another mod, it works for me in Open MW 0.46.

You have to be in a region that has weather going on (you can use the console to trigger this changeweather "ashlands region" 6 for example to set the ashlands to ash. Of course the region depends on the region you are in). Once the wind is blowing, go inside, as long as the interior cell is named appropriately to know it's in that region (for example Ghostgate, Tower of Dawn) you should an ambiant sound playing for the wind blowing. Same with rain and blizzards.

I use the louder one because I think the normal one is too quiet.

If you're still interested I started a new game and had trouble getting the script to run, did a bit of playing around and looks like Kirel loads his scripts through the start up scripts so if you use a mod that modifies that, it can hinder it, I think my own mod load order was expansion delay mods. Don't know why but when I flipped from k_weather louder sounds to k weather normal sounds, load my game, save, then remove normal k weather and go to k_weather louder sounds it started working for me. Maybe that will help!
