There are issues with a good number of the voice packs. First, you have no Wood Elves... at all. Pity, the Modularr Beautiful People set for Oblivion uses Bosmer voices for Ainmhi attack cries.
Second, some voices are wrong.
The Female Argonian/Orc pack uses Oblivion's Argonians... It is a match for Morrowind Orcs, but not for either female Argonians nor Khajiit. And Female Argonians and Khajiit sound different from one another in Morrowind.
The Male Argonian/Khajiit pack too uses Oblivion's Argonians... But it is only a proper match for Morrowind Argonians. To get something resembling the Morrowind Khajiit, you would need to increase the pitch roughly 30% with Audacity.
The Female Altmer? Yes, its the same voice actress who does the Breton Female both here and Oblivion. But she put a serious haughty edge that can't be replicated. Okay, not sure if THAT can be xvaSynthesized.... *shrugs*
And the Male nord.... nope. What's uploaded is Oblivion's and is just not correct at all.
Third, a lot of the files here are old:
Morrowind's Female Orcs (a version 1.0) -- Use Oblivion's Female Argonian/Khajiit 3.0
Morrowind's Female Bretons (a version 1.0) -- Use Oblivion's Female Breton/Imperial v 3.0
Morrowind's Female Dunmer (version 2.0) - Use Oblivion's Female Altmer/Dunmer/Bosmer v 3.0
Morrowind's Female Nord (version 1.0) - Use Oblivion's Female Nord/Orc v 3.0
Morrowind's Female Redguard (a version 1.0) -- Use Oblivion's Female Redguard v 3.0
Morrowind's Male Argonian (a version 1.4) -- Use Oblivion's Male Argonian/Khajiit v 3.0
Morrowind's Male Redguard (a version 1.3) -- Use Oblivion's Male Redguard v 3.0
Actually, I have had issues with using v3 files, the inability to increase/decrease spoken pitch for character inflections. But the issue doesn't appear when I use vocal packs older than 3.0. So I would recommend SNAGGING BOTH V3.0 and OLDER and keeping them around to see what works for what situation. And Redguard Female v 1.0 here is much better than the latter released v 2.1. Yikes.
im having a bit of trouble trying to understand how to use this. all i want to do is generate female argonian voicelines, but it just spits out the error: "Model not found.. Download WaveGlow files separately if you haven't, or check the path in the settings." i cant find a proper place to download waveglow. the required files dont seem to be on the github, nor does the nvidia page work (it tries zipping the files but doesn't finish). where can i download waveglow so i can actually do what i need to do?
Looks amazing! I would even say that this is a kind of breakthrough in modding, if it will be used everywhere. However, here is the question I have. Is it possible for the program to work with other languages?
Is there any progress with this? Will there be actual dialogue in Morrowind now? What put me off the game was reading all the time. Have never played more than an hour. Finding this gives me hope though. When can we expect to see this fully working and available to the masses?
I was under the impression this would let me have the text in Morrowind voice acted. I don't see that as being something anyone does. What is the point of this being in the Morrowind page then?
