If you have been taught Americanised (or should it be with a 'z'?) English I can understand your sentiment. For those of us who speak and write English, the changes made are appropriate.
So, when the glorious nation of Resdayn Morrowind finally leaves the obviously inferior, tasteless and far too high-taxed EUmpire (they let everyone in nowadays and have a horrible music taste!), do they call it Morrowex--.. you know what, never mind, forget I asked!
[No, seriously, this is mod is good. Does singing "Rule Britannia" while installing it suffice?]
Making changes like that would entail a total overhaul of Morrowind's clothing, dialogue etc. The intention is not to do that. Besides it is a monumental task to take on even if I was so inclined.
The scope I've settled on is limited to: load screen "initializing" to initialising and various corrections in menus
The reasoning is I see these every time I start the game or open a menu and they are a prevalent, albeit minor annoyance.
By intentionally limiting the scope the risk of "breaking" other mods is non-existant.

e.g. in the main menu upon loading a game you will see "initialising" instead of "initializing"
