it's because this was for vanilla. not for OpenMW. OpenMW uses ""OMWADDONS"" ((They're basically a Morrowind ESP in function but built specifically for the new engine)) from my personal experience while The Devs of OpenMW have said vanilla .esps should in theory also work here with OpenMW's Engine, but I tend to find that running vanilla .esps though/with OpenMW tends to cause crashes/instability.
if you've installed OpenMW, you'll find it's own construction set (it's modding tool) called; ''openmw-cs.exe" in the OpenMW folder, right below where the ''openmw.exe'' is. I've never used OpenMW's Construction-Set before, but i presume that it's quite similar to the vanilla's Construction set
