*Edit* I'm putting my foot in my mouth, i found the problem. fixing it now, leaving this here for others amusement. (liking it and endorsing)
Having missing Texture Issues, specifically only with this mod. I'm using OpenMW. I opened it up in the creation kit, and did a scan and apparently more than 50% of the assets are missing from the mod. from hair to feet, missing textures and animations alike. I would love some help with this, or even a link to a file to drop into my data folder (if one exists it is very unclear.) I was really looking forward to the wacky races.
the fix, is the optional file is critically in no way optional, as it contains the custom meshes. it states as much in the short description on the files download page, but it' s pretty easy to miss, and nowhere in the description or posts tabs that I could see.
Although i cannot use it because i already have race-altering mods (besides, it's too lore-unfriendly for me), I still want to say that i totally appreciate your work and courage!
Nice and creative mod! You certainly went full on Island-Of-Dr-Moreau in this thing.
It is vexing that the hands and feet have to be missing in standard vanilla MW, but that can be rationalized by assuming that Divayth Fyr used inexact parameters in developing his were-curse. While the mod contributes nicely atmospheric weirdness to the game world, it also sets Fyr up as a public menace.
So, a question: If a PC visits Tel Fyr, will Divayth 'fess up to his (mis)deed, or will a PC's encountering the new were-Creatures mark a trail of responsibility leading back to Tel Fyr?
Up to your own roleplaying bro, I just added them into the game as monsters to fight. The whole Tel Fyr description was just some "lore" I threw in to the description.
Original and promising mod. But I did not find werecrabs neither in leveled list nor in playable races. Werecliffs and werecrabs have hands and feet excissed from the body.
All of this has been updated, the races that are advertised as playable are now playable, and the werecrabs have been fixed in the leveled lists, as well as leveled lists have been expanded and diversified for these creatures.
The excision from the bodies is due to the mod requiring OpenMW, the way they are done it will not work with Vanilla.
Inga: Werewolf! Dr. Frankenstein: Werewolf? Igor: There. Dr. Frankenstein: What? Igor: There, wolf. There, castle. Dr. Frankenstein: Why are you talking that way? Igor: I thought you wanted to. Dr. Frankenstein: No, I don’t want to.
