Ok so I spoke with Salen Ravel in Maar Gan. He knows about his index and says he is willing to barter for a donation. So...How do I make the donation? The index is not in his barter menu. It is sitting before the rock. Picking it up? Looks like stealing? Yup it is stealing, reported and booted out of the temple. Erm Help?
After updating to the current version of the mod, my save now crashes when I try to load it. I'm going to go back to the previous version to see if it'll work with that one. Update: That did not work. Something decided to screw up and ruin those saves.
This is likely one of those "don't update mid-save" updates. Beautiful Cities of Morrowind is similar in this regard in that they don't recommend you update your mod version until you start a brand new character.
Thank you for your work on Master Index Plugin :) Dialogues felt organic, no bugs a with patch compatible with BCOM.
It you would like to enhance the mod even more, I would suggest you to create quest in which you help Folms Mirel get some recognision from Arcane University or to help him promote his discovery which could lead to formation of small archeology guild of old Dunmer culture?
I was thinking of a bigger overhaul where Folms gets to install the propylons to replace the guild guides, but I thought it might conflict with too much. As for additional quests with Folms, I might think about it. Especially since it's a niche part of Dunmer lore, it would be interesting to make some quests exploring it.
You updated this right as I was about to start a new run. I like the new Caldera propylon model. Does it eventually light up when the master index is activated? The bug mentioned below by garbagemidas is still present, only way to acquire the index is by pick pocketing Irgola or using the console. The spelling error I mentioned is still there as well.
Great mod otherwise, I like the improvements over the original plugin.
Damn, that was fast! Too fast. Spent the last hour fixing the bugs myself and some of the leftover spelling errors. Came back to if it would be okay for me to link to the fixed version in the meantime and saw your own hotfix.
I seem to be having an issue where the first index doesn't spawn. It's not on the windowsill, and it's not in the merchant's inventory. Everything else seems to be working just fine.
I'm playing on openMW 0.48, with the only other mod being Zack's lua multimark.
Same issue, looks like the one reported a few years ago on the 1st page of comments (page 2) Drackolus seems to have supplied a possible fix but it wasn't implemented. Or least not here. I don't know if there is a patch somewhere. It's not linked to this mod if so.
I found 3 issues: - The wall from CMGQ is overplapping the door to the Folms Mirel basement. I'm playing with the patched version and it's loaded after said mod. - Floating wooden chest in the basement - The items on the Folms' table have no owner attached to them.
Does this mod work if I have already completed the official plugin quest? or rather, is it safe to install it if I have already done so, or would there be any conflicts such as the placement of Folms?
Same for me and I solved it by using the 'ResetActors' command to bring him back and then the "resurrect' command to revive him. I recommend downloading the ResetActors on travel mod to ensure that npcs are always where they're supposed to be.
