There's something very broken about these unfortunately, at least in base Morrowind with MGE XE (not sure about OpenMW). Framerate tanks whenever the player is looking towards many of the hairstyles (which makes walking around in a town close to impossible), and they leave horribly broken shadows. I just cannot for the life of me seem to see how to install this. Is it just drag and drop? or do the individual folders need to be extracted to particular file paths? I'm sure I'm missing something stupid, and it's a user error.
ey for some reason some hairs tank my fps until the npc with the hair is dead or out of sight or when I'm in a menu (inventory, dialogue etc)this includes my character, any tips to fix it?
update: i was able to pin down a few hairs but not all these are just the ones i waws able to notice

I'm using OpenMW as well. Maybe it's your installation process. I'm installing it as a typical Morrowind mod, to the Data folder, not an OpenMW plugin or whatever.
I think I've encountered the same problem except I would describe the color changing in the hairs as spotty. Interestingly this color changing only happens in interiors. I believe that it likely has something to do with the lighting in interiors, but I have no expertise on this issue. I'm also using OpenMW. I've put a few screenshots in the image section pending your approval.
:( Ah that's unfortunate. I just wanted to add, even though it may be pointless, that I spoke too soon. It seems after teleporting to a different location that this bug happens in some exteriors too.
I love this Hair mod! Your hairstyles I feel are the closest to the original design and color of the original hairstyles, while looking a lot better!
I have tried other hair packs, and I've always had mixed feelings about them. They have a lot of good stuff, but Much of the time they don't feel like they fit in with the world, especially because of the way the hair styles are done in other mods, and the extremely over-brightened colors for some of the hair that look very unnatural. In other mods it often gives an undesirable 'final fantasy' look to hair that just makes many NPC's look like they are wearing wigs. Your hair nails it, and works really well with the various head replacement mods, especially races redone which I think works the best (MacKom's look too roundish IMO).
Thank You very much for making this hair mod maniman!
