"This mod does not require Morrowind Rebirth, or any other mod, other than the resources of the original Tombs Expended, version 1.1 by Zappara, which I have included as an optional file.
But I strongly recommend the following mods if you want to be a real tomb raider:
The creator retired Tombs Expanded and its no longer supported. This is the successor/replacement they created. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45705/
After fighting through many tombs I feel I've seen enough to say what I'm going to say. BRO, you have WAY WAY WAY WAY too many UNDEAD. The tombs are littered with lichs, great bonelords, undead with claymores. It's not fun to fight 10 undead every time you open and room and don't get me started on the crooked hallways. It takes a LONG time to get through on greater difficulty levels and I find myself running around turtling spawn and spamming macros. NOT FUN. You need to cut the undead spawn in your tombs at least by 75%. It's ridiculous how much spawn is in there and it takes away from the aesthetic of the tombs. You could have a good mod here. But the overload of spawn makes your tombs not fun to explore but tedious and time-consuming.
You are right about this mod being over populated with monsters, but you must note:
I'm not the author of this mod and I just rebalanced the container loot and made the mod compatible with Morrowind Rebirth
Also note that the original mod was just about dungeon crawling, with nothing more than new randomly made dungeons with random rooms connected with random corridors, and populated with random monsters, clutters and loot
So a situation might be a bit too hard, but the next part might be too easy, and the random loot would come handy, and sometime rewards you so handsomely that you would be prepared for the next hard parts
Also you can use the doors and those cobweb barriers to your advantage, as you can trap some monsters behind the doors and finish the rest, or hide behind a (locked?) door and spawn minions on the other side to soften the opposition a bit and then enter a room
Also those cobwebs somehow obfuscate what's behind them and monsters do not see well what's behind those cobwebs, so with some strategy, you can hide there and finish them one by one
Also note that in Morrowind, sometimes you have to retreat from a situation and return when you are better prepared, with better stats, gear and spells, and in the end you can become a god incarnate, if you want, when no situation can challenge you
This mod is not for newbie characters and is more suitable for better prepared ones, so you can avoid the new levels for a bit until you feel prepared for them

*** davidkrumz' Loot well Urned.
I edited the mod for myself to reduce the chance of special items."
Just to clarify, is this included in your .esp or can you host the more balanced edition you made? Thank you regardless for this ! :)
I read further, but was bit unsure how much of Loot well Urned mod you used or if I should grab that as well.

i have a dvd with a lot of old mods, and tombs expanded was one of them, also the undead dungeons.
but i want to retry the game with rebirth and this is really good!
ill be playing it.
do you know if his could work with the mod called the undead?
Yes, I use both The Undead, and The Undead add-on for tomb expanded, with no problem.
