would it be possible to optionally disable changes to chirranirr for compatibility with bards of bardenfell? she has some of my favourite songs but with this mod enabled, she doesn't play them! :(
I probably won't add any Malahk Orcs to Vvardenfell - they are supposed to be pretty isolationist, and rarely leave the Velothi Mountains. However, if you'd like to meet some ingame, there are a couple to be found in the new Grasping Fortune release of TR.
Unfortunately, it appears the animkit is still required if playing OpenMW, as the tails are invisible as can be. On the playable variants, that is; which is a comment that should be made on the partner mod, really, but I found this mod first!
And after faffing around with it for hours, even the animkit isn't a viable option for OpenMW. Unfortunate!
Using wayback machine, I was able to grab the meshes that were linked from a previous iteration of this mod in the Description: https://web.archive.org/web/20230711224940/https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/401794229476655105/711310803957186585/AnimKit.7z
So, I'm new to modding Morrowind, but the Ohmes-Raht and Cathay don't have tails when I make those races. I have Tamriel_Data installed and loaded prior to this mod. Not sure what I've done wrong. I installed both via Vortex.
I inadvertently found a minor mod incompatibility while transferring my OpenMW mod list to regular Morrowind (All the MWSE mods are just too good to pass up). The mod 'Fix those bastard rope fences' causes tails to not appear on Khajiit races that they should, such as the Ohmes-Raht. I assume this is because the mod includes hitbox changes for players and NPCs. I also assume that any mod that If you are also using this mod and do not want to disable it entirely, delete the following files from 'Fix those bastard rope fences': xbase_anim.nif xbase_anim_female.nif xbase_animkna.nif Tails should now appear as normal.
While we're on the topic of xbase_anim files, 'Simply Walking' appears to be entirely compatible with this mod. Yippee!
I'll post any other minor or major incompatibilities if I run into them.
OpenMW v0.48, Tamriel Data v10.0 with HD textures. I see no tails on Suthay, haven't checked others. About to check on an installation I have using MCP and MGE XE, I'll report back if there are tails when I use that installation. Any advice on what might be going wrong?
If it matters, it is a Suthay added by another mod (the introductory quest mod for TR which adds a Suthay to Addamasartus)
Edit: Same issue with MGE XE. Going to check on one of your added characters and if the same problem persists, I'll update with my install and load order
Edit: Chirranirr has a tail! Marvelous! Seeing shoes AND tails in Morrowind just fills my heart with joy.
Mod works, great, it's just that the other mod I was using isn't quite up to date I guess! I'll reach out to that other mod author about the update.
