Loving this mod, though found an incompatibility with Seyda Neen - damp little squat. Damp Little Squat replaces Ariel's tradehouse, including the ladder leading to the attic, with its own tileset with different textures, the result being Damp Little Squat's attic ladder overlapping with this mod's attic ladder and flickering.
I don't use Seyda Neen - damp little squat and I don't think it's popular enough to make a different verion for. You could make a compatible version yourself by using TES3cmd to remove the Arille's tradehouse from either one of the plugins.
Well, I ended up making a patch for it with openmw-cs. Removes Arillel's Beds dialogue from Damp Little Squat, removes the Damp Little Squat attic door, and changes the Improved Inns Expanded door to use the Damp Little Squat mesh. It doesn't do anything to The Dirty Anchor. I'll probably try to add support for the other Inn it adds later. If you don't mind, what does one need to do in order to add the Improved Inns Expanded functionality to an Inn?
You need to add a dialogue response under the beds topic for the publican at the inn so they offer different lengths of stay and you need to edit the publican's script to be the same as the other publican scripts edited by Improved Inns Expanded. The differences between the scripts are the rent flag being changed, the coordinates used to check if you're in the rented room and the coordinates you get spawned to when kicked out of the room. You'll also want to give the inn an index and edit the BINN_start_message script so that index sends the correct message.
Load the improved inns expanded esp into the cs when you're making your patch so you have something to use as a reference. I hope this helps :)
Thank you for this mod, I have been using it for ages :)
I recently updated to version 1.7.2 and I am having a small issue with the script for the Ald-ruhn Council Club:
Whenever i load a save i get an error message reading: >> Unable to find referenced object "de_p_chest_02_darvan hl" in script Pub_Aldruhn_Council. <<
Additionally, when I go to the Ald-ruhn Council Club and pay to rent a bed, the door to the room does not unlock.
I was previously using version 1.5.2 and have now reverted to version 1.6.0. In neither of those versions do I experience the above issues.
I have looked into the esp and used TES3View to try and find any obvious problems with the mod or incompatibilities. I have not found any, but have never worked on scripts for Morrowind so I might have missed something.
I am using the core version of the mod with no addons.
As you may recall I provided you with the instructions for the description page on Installation Preparation, Install Order, Which Plugin? etc. Can't believe it was almost 5 years ago!
Today is one of the rare times I have logged in and viewed this mod. Having just done a preview of the file contents of v1.72 it appears that these instructions are now inaccurate and thus misleading, apart from the ''Installation Preparation'' section and the ''Install Order'' section.
I suggest removing or reworking the misleading sections to avoid any confusion.
Again, thanks for all you've contibuted to the Morrowind community over the years.
For some reason, whenever i rent a bed, I immediately get the notice that my rental period has ended in the dialogue window, and I'm unable to (legally) use the bed or open the door. This seems to happen in any tavern I try. Using the TR-Entertainers version if that helps at all.
Interesting, I've never ran into that during testing. Were you using any other mods that might have edited the beds dialogue topic or the publican scripts?
When I try to use the "Entertain the patrons" option in a dialog with someone I can't choose an option or back out of the conversation, the only fix is reloading a save.
I've just finished a patch between this mod and the latest version of tamriel rebuilt. Do you want to host it here or should I upload it myself? I am planning on updating it in the future.
I rented the room in the Gateway Inn in Sadrith Mora and the message appears correctly, but I cannot activate the hammock in the top floor (nothing happens). The containers work correctly, i.e. I can use them. Wondering what could be the reason for that. BTW I'm using Expanded Vanilla as my base modlist.

Has anyone experienced the same?
