I entered the Gorge before I had this mod, so the Daedric Crossbow never spawned. I tried to do Construction Set but can't get the file to load in it. Would there be a way to get the Id? Thank You.
Edit: I got it to load but most of the icons aren't working.
Does anyone happen to have *THE ORIGINAL* mod upon which this updated version is based? (The one against which we are supposed to compare, as per the ReadMe text.)
Though in the extensive description, the GHF site is defunct, and appears nowhere in the Wayback in any way, shape, or form.
I'd very much the original mod if anyone happens to have it....
Hi there! My mod pulls from various sources, but I apologize I do not have the original mod any longer. Attempting to access GHF is an impossibility at this point, you are correct. I wanted to credit Alaisiagae & WHReaper for the work they did, and make sure their names still live on in this great community. If anyone has the original .zip of the base mod, I'm sure they may be able to help.
Alaisiagae's original Dwemer crossbow is still on here though: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/27280
can someone tell me where the daedric version is. ive been looking for hours now and i just cant find it. im on soltsheim now and i followed the black horker but i cant find anything at all not in stahlmans gorge neither
Without giving too much away: make sure you have one of the included ESP files checked in your load order. I would also advise placing the ESP at the bottom of your load list too to make sure the cell affected is not being overwritten by another one of the mods you may be running. Also: look for a Skeleton inside the Gorge.
I can't seem to get this mod to work. For one they do not spawn into level lists, or at least I did not yet find any shop that would sell at least the iron crossbow, but when I try to spawn them in with my console, I get an iconless item that has no mesh, since dropping it produces only a triangle and big white cube, while trying to equip it crashes my game. The game itself says, when I try to drop it, that meshes could not be loaded. (it provides the path to .nif file as well) Should I be keeping the meshes and icons within 00 Core folder or should I drop them somewhere else amidst the Data Files?
Nevermind! I did some big thinkies and resolved the issue. The stupidity that possesses us when we are sleepy...
I am glad you found the solution to your issue. Was this a problem with the mod or just user error? Let me know, as I would be more than accommodating to resolve the issue within the installer package.
Hi! In the base Morrowind game that's how the original models sat on the ground. I'm not totally certain, but its possible that the reason the originals sat so wonky because of how the bones on the animation .kf files interact with the bones of the model .nif files. I didn't want to mess with them further and left them as is.
