    Can tamed/bred guars be sold? I plan on playing an ashlander guar herder and thought it could be a pretty nice little business if he could sell the guars he breeds to the other camps, for example.

    Does anyone know how long after telling a guar to breed it takes for a baby guar (doo doo dododooo) to be born?

    I've encountered a error, I can no longer select my guar it doesn't pop up with the window anymore it just blinks mow. Not sure what I did. I saved and left the game and when I came back I cant select him anymore

    This mod is incredible! I truly don't know how I ever played without it. Having a whole caravan of guars tromping after me is my new favorite morrowind thing. A couple questions though--will your guar's hunger continue to rise in your absence, and will starving the guar kill it? I'd feel horrible if I came back to Pelagiad one day only to find my poor guar's corpse. Also, is it safe to update this mod mid-playthrough? Thanks!

      Guars only lose happiness/hunger when they are in your presence. Updating mid-playthrough is usually fine.

      Maybe you could try this?. It is standard scripting but it sort of works if you invest time practicing the controls

    Out of curiosity...Would you be able to make the toy ball more realistic by adding a shorter ranged throw and a bounce to it? I feel like if you threw the ball, you could end up throwing it someplace where you can't get it back. Aside from that, I'm downloading this mod; it looks like a lot of fun!

      Yeah... adding physics simulation to a 18 year old game engine is a bit beyond the scope of a guar taming mod :D

      Hey I'm not an expert, so I figured I would ask haha! Oh, I did want to know something else though. I've been playing around with the mod, and I encountered something peculiar when taming. Basically it calls the guar a "he" before I feed it to tame and I find out after taming they are in fact a she; was that intentional? Also, am I able to modify follow distance?

    Not really related to the mod specifically, but how did you get the seemingly "animated" image/gif into the thumbnail showcase like that? I'd like to do something similar, but it does not seem to be supported in the Media tab?

      It is supported, just upload it as a regular image. The only trick is it won't animate unless it's under a certain size.

      Thanks for the info, i'll give it a try. I'm surprised that animated image you used is under 2-MB, it still looks pretty crisp.

      No worries! I used GIMP, it has a function for optimising image layers for making gifs.

    The mod isn't showing up in game "Mod Config settings" I add the folder to MWSE and add the ESP file to the data files and it will not show up so I can't use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

      Are you not using a mod organiser? You shouldn't need to install anything directly to MWSE folder, just extract the entire zip into the Morrowind folder. There's more than just MWSE files, there are other assets as well.

    Really cute mod!

    Is there a way to make it not show the status box when you have the guar targeted? I don't know which mod I am running that is interfering with it but when I have my guar targeted the status flashes on and off so it would be nice to have an option to only show the box when you ask for the status.

      A little more info - having this mod enabled causes all my exterior tooltips to blink. This includes creature/NPC/companion names, doors, containers, plants (I use Graphic Herbalism), etc. When I disable it in the mod config menu everything goes back to normal. I did run the MWSE updater just to be sure but it did not help :(

      It only does it in the outdoor zones - here is the log. It only causes the tooltips to flicker in outside zones and if the mod is active. It does it when the guar is on follow or wander with me nowhere near it. If I disable the mod in config everything returns to normal. I did try uninstalling the UI Expansion mod but that did not fix it.

      If this isn't what you need, let me know - I am a bit new to this so might have grabbed the wrong thing :)

      I don't see anything in the logs that would cause this, and I can't replicate the issue on my end. There must be some other mod interfering with it.

      How often do the tooltips flash? Once a second? Every frame?

      I would say once a second, maybe slightly faster but not fast enough that it's once per frame. I will try disabling other mods one at a time - if I figure out which one is doing it, I will let you know.

      Well, I turned all my mods off and uninstalled MCP - it still blinked. I guess I will have to blame this on my unique relationship with computers in general. Any computer I come in contact with for a significant amount of time develops the weirdest idiosyncrasies . It is so bad I have hacker friends who won't let me set so much as a toe in the same room with their machines. Anytime I report a problem with a machine or a program to any IT person that knows me they either get a deer in the headlights look and freeze in horror or they run and look for somewhere to hide
