It's good. But there is a question - if I agree to die instead of jail, then I see only a black screen. No reloading of the game. And I can open my inventory even if my health is zero. Is that how it should be?
Very cool mod. I thought it didn't work because I died after my jail sentence, but it seems I was killed by another actor and not a guard. When I diseable the beating option, the death (by another actor) occurs before the jail. It's more realistic.
Very cool idea. Can't wait to try it out. Quick question. Does this also apply to telvanni-territory guards or do they behave differently? since the telvanni pretty much don't really give a damn about empire law (see slaves for example) i feel they might react differently in this case. i don't know, just a thought i had when reading the description. also does this affect the morag tong writ system in any way? is the dialogue to present a wit to a guard/ordinator still triggered with this mod active?
Your plans to develop this mod into a full blown justice system (maybe with regional differences depending on the dominant political/religious power?) is very interesting and i'm looking forward to see where this is going.
Hello drstrangelove42! Currently all guards behave the same, including guards added by mods. That may, potentially, change in the future. This mod should not interfere with the Morag Tong writ system -- it only triggers if you choose to "resist arrest", or if you are already in combat with guards.

Mod approved !
It seems like e.attackerReference is coming in as nil? I'm really not familiar with MWSE so I wouldn't know where to begin to fix this.
Anyhow, BLM and ACAB, and thank you for your work. <3
Always hated being killed for stealing a cup.
Works just fine for now!
Thanks for your mod!
