Gives limited HP & Magicka Regeneration without making sleeping/resting trivial. Treats Vampires and those Born under the Atronach in the same way the vanilla game does. Intended to add very modest regeneration of resource pools hopefully to increase immersion without drastically altering the vanilla experience.

Adds a single script that functions to gives passive magicka and health regeneration to the player.
Adheres to the Vanilla game's treatment of vampires and Atronachs (Vampires do not receive the passive health regen, but receive passive Magicka regen; whereas those born under the sign of the Atronach recieve no magicka regen but do receive health regen -naturally, Vampires born under the Atronach sign should receive no benefit from this mod).
The passive regeneration provided by this mod is very slight (hence why it is "almost vanilla") and is intended to be low enough that resting/sleeping is still a more efficient way of restoring these resources per in-game hour.
My reason for making this mod was I was wanting to play through Morrowind with a vanilla playthrough, but I found it a little immersion breaking that while "resting" on the side of a road for hours on end would restore my health and magicka, casually strolling through the streets of Vivec and chatting with NPCs for the same number of consecutive hours did not. It seemed to me that if relaxing by the side of the road could restore these resources, relaxing in the marketplace should be able to as well. That said, I also wanted to be sure to keep the spirit of the vanilla experience alive so I ensured the regeneration rates are low enough that they will do little to give added advantage in battle, and resting or sleeping is still the most effective means of restoring these resources. (in optimal circumstances this mod will only passively give a character about 60% of the HP and Magicka per in-game hour ( where 1 in-game hour = 120 gameplay seconds) that they would have received from sleeping -so sleep is still the primary way of restoring these resources, but you should hopefully no longer feel penalized by taking your time smelling the...Toadstools?... as you traverse Morrowind if you go for a long time between battles. Also in keeping with the spirit of Vanilla Morrowind for the full version of this mod (there are two versions to choose from -one for the full version and another for a bare bones basic version) I factored in the character's fatigue so that characters standing around chatting to village folk will (sensibly) regenerate resources at a faster rate than a character currently participating in the Elder Scrolls' triathlon.
In addition, it seemed to me most of the regen focused mods I've seen did not take vampires into account, and since the vanilla Morrowind seems to have very pointedly made it clear that vampires are not intended to 'naturally' restore their health, I wanted to be sure to include that aspect into this mod as well.
The mod is very simple. It just adds a single script that passively restores both resources, and it shouldn't be likely to interfere with other mods (though mods that change the in-game-time to game-play-time ratios will impact how this mod functions).
This mod was cleaned of all GMSTs using Morrowind Enchanted Editor (huge thanks for the hard work that went into that great tool).
The only requirement for this mod should be the Morrowind base game.
Please note that there are 2 different zipped folders available for download. Each of these zipped downloads contain a readme text document and an .esp file. If you choose to download both, please only use one of the .esp files for your game or they may conflict with each other. The difference between these two downloads is as follows:
One of these files is the full version of this mod as described above. The full version uses the Endurance attribute (and to a lesser degree the strength attribute) to calculate the amount of HP regenerated per second, and the Intelligence Attribute (and to a lesser degree the Willpower attribute) to calculate the magicka regenerated per second. In both cases, the regeneration rate is modified by how much fatigue the character has presently.
The second .esp is the most basic version of this mod (the esp will be easy to tell from the full version because it identifies itself as the 'basic' mod in the filename), does not factor in fatigue at all, and only uses Endurance (for HP) and Intelligence (for Magicka) in the calculations in case anyone would prefer the way that works.
In either case, the mod should properly treat Vampires and Atronach birthsigns as the Vanilla game treats them when it comes to 'natural' recovery of their resources.
I assume this mod will only find a niche audience since there are plenty of more powerful resource regeneration mods out there, but I had fun tackling this project for my own saves and thought I would post it in case anyone else has a desire for such a mod and would enjoy it. Feedback is welcome, and I'd be curious to hear people's suggestions as well since this is the very first mod I have created.
