Could you help me with importing models from other games to morrowind. I can import the models. But I am having a hard time using blendir to make them work in morrowind.
I believe ur mod adds a Triss Merigold and maybe even a Fillipa? I found Triss in the Vivec Mage Guild after i used a portal to get there, but she only had regular npc conversations as a mage npc. Nothing to advance any options to get her as a companion, or should i first find a Geralt npc somewhere? A bit more guidance on what ur mod does would be nice and if u updated or plan to still - which i hope ?
She also uses old segmented body parts of the blocky insectoid original morrowind models, odd since the head, face, hair and outfits r so well done, could u convert it (plz) to use BetterBodies non-segmented mesh instead?.
Or otherwise, can i be pointed in the direction to try alter the use of BB's nord female body mesh for myself in the esp maybe? Any modding pages/tips? To make this mod actually pop a bit more and up with the times? (yes, ppl do still play Morrowind, be it heavily modded, for a first time! lol ;o )
The simplest would be to go into the Construction Set, enter this mod, and change Triss's race from (whatever this mod has it) to Nord but keep everything else the same. I imagine they're be some skin color discrepency, at least a little bit, but that's the simplest way to do what you're asking for.
Tougher is to copy the meshes of the body parts for Nords (or another human), rename them to be identical to the body parts for this mod race, and then use a software like "GIMP" to recolor the associated Textures (also copy and then rename them to be identical to the texture names for this mod race) so they match more precisely. Doable but tedious.
