MelchiorDahrk, thank you for the mod.
Immediately after installation, I get this:
Model "Meshes\f\Flora_emp_parasol_[01/02/03].NIF" tex not found "tx_emperor_parasol_[01/02/03]_nm.dds"!
    Object "flora_emp_parasol_[01/02/03]" (Morrowind.esm)
    plus one for bark.
Where do I get the required textures, please?

You're likely using one of the included patches without the requisite mod installed.

Oh, I see. 'Compatible Replacers' are Requisite mods.
      Cheers!

I didn't realize that this is a full mesh replacer for the mushroom trees. I'd love a version that is a particle effect, only. I'm looking to use Mushroom Tree Replacer by PeterBitt, for a really obnoxious look.

I'm guessing this won't work with the new Colorful Toadstools mod?

Hi Melchior! Would you consider fixing the uv-mapping on the vanilla-style parasol gills?

You'll have to be more specific on which version and what the issue is.

Sorry! I have zero modelling skills so I'm probably explaining it wrong. The 'non-replacer' version appears to have something weird going on with the gills on the underside of the mushroom. The texture seems to be repeated a few times in concentric rings instead of extending the gills from the stem to the rim of the parasol. You can see in your screenshots how the underside appears bunched-up like scrunched plastic, instead of the gills radiating out like spokes. Not sure how else to describe it, I'm afraid. I normally use a smoothed vanilla-style model like the ones from MET and find it pretty noticeable (more than the particles, unfortunately). I'd be happy to switch to the lower poly mushies to get these lovely spores in my lungs though!

That's the vanilla look. I have patches for high poly versions that have a different appearance though.

Oh my, had to remove literally everything to see it - what a mess. Makes you really appreciate mods like MOP in a whole new way nope, just being a dummy again, must've had some sort of replacer in there from the very beginning! You learn something every day. It's dawned on me the last time I truly looked at the game in its vanilla form was in 2005 on the Xbox. Thanks though, I do like PeterBitt's replacer but it doesn't fit the landscape for me personally. I'll stick to the vanilla+ parasols I was using. I appreciate your time, you're a scholar and a gent!

On a whim I took a look at the Telvanni bump map parasols for the very first time. Threw out the textures and it turns out they're similar, if not identical to what I was currently using aside from those shiny bump maps. Took a deep breath and opened them in Nifskope, carefully expanded everything until I found the references and switched the 'HasBumpMap' toggle on the properties thingy before deleting the normals. To my surprse nothing blew up and the models worked - functionally the same as my existing parasols, using vanilla textures and bump map free!

Unfortunately I couldn't get the Ashfall patch working, it has the same texture mapping issue mentioned above. No problem for me though, just stoked I can at last have these sweet particles on my smoothed models!

Is it possible for you to make the same particles for parasols from Epic Trees? I'm finding these are best looking mushroom models.

Looks like OpenMW doesn't support this mod yet? At least with a vanilla install + this mod, no particles are displayed.

OpenMW can run this mod just fine. :)
Could be that you installed it incorrectly (make sure this loads after other mesh replacers like Morrowind Optimization Patch). Or that the effect is just more subtle than you expected. But it does work.

Looks great, but sadly there is no patch for Mixed mushrooms.
