Doing thieves guild quests and this mod definitely makes life harder for a thief, as there are more NPCs standing around to see you. A couple of times they are near a chest or a vanilla NPC you need to steal from.
One quest in particular is a little broken by this mod: "Loot the Mages Guild." All of the mages are supposed to be gone from the guild in Ald'ruhn during the quest, but the NPCs added by this mod are still there. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong exactly. Disabling for now, but it's a nice idea and a nice mod in general.
Some incompatibility with Sadrith Mora seat of power, some man drowned there (took it's glass sword at level 1 :D), although it can be a roleplaying feature.
Hi Danae! Great mod! Can you make a "no cities daytime - with interiors" option? I use "no cities daytime" because there is no fps loss, but I will be very happy to see some random npc indoors. Thank you for your work!
Yup, I plan to add interoor npcs to all versions. Also currently testing a no outdoor cities, but interior cities and wilderness to go with the new lua npcs mod.
Please! Make a "no lua npcs" of "no cities daytime - with interiors" version!! Im using only Openmw in Android, so the lua version won't work for me :( Please! I will very grateful with you! XD
I typically have the following setup: Starfire city nights + Animated Morrowind + Outlaws + npc schedule Cities > I get vanilla npc + animated npcs during the day, only shady poeple from SF at night in towns. Wilderness > highwaymen any time, fences at night, traders day, possible companions
With a beefier PC, you can add Children of Morrowind for kids during the day.
I made nerfed MCA plugin which reduces NPCs spawn chance from 90-100% to 10-1%. Abot made also plugin which renames MCA NPCs with lore friendly names. Compatible 100% with my nerfed edit.
Would it be possible to add a mod menu for this mod? I prefer Starfire's NPCs over MCA, but I'd like a version with a much lower chance of meeting the NPCs added by this mod, like 1 or 2 days a month, a merchant shows up in Balmora or Seyda Neen, or a fence spawns to sell stolen goods.
I think there's an issue that still needs fixing: naked barbarians. After a quick look in the CS it seems that at least half of the barbarians are missing the leveled item "sf_commoner_shirts" or something like that.
I am quite sure it was by design following the Naked Nord meme. That being said, they do stand out, especially that one Nord with steel pauldrons but no shirt...
I have an update planned (finally went through the original dialogues, so I will add shirts to Barbarians, mayne with a 50% chance to show :)
