Thanks for pointing me to the responsible mod! (I found your comment via Google search).
It still was quite a task to find the culprit: 'vfx_firecloud.dds'.
      ;)

Well, it seems it's more than just this one. Still investigating...

      Edit:
Okay, another one is 'vfx_particle064.dds'. That one seems to be for mysticism spells. 'vfx_firecloud.dds' was fire spells related. If I find another one I will update this list accordingly...

This is my favourite texture mod-
Amazing quality and atmosphere, and yet, great performance, compared to all other upscale-mods i have tried.

    Thank you SO much!

I've been messing around with texture mods, and come to find that intelligent textures has overall higher quality textures than MET, but it doesn't match vanilla colors (this annoys me to death actually because more often than not the new color is worse than vanilla), meanwhile MET matches vanilla colors but some of the textures actually look worse than vanilla.

The HD Vanilla Texture mod is great but it doesn't upscale enough so textures still look a lil blurry.

I really wish there was a version of intelligent textures that matched the vanilla tone/colors.

For the record, I can safely say that MET does (slightly) alter colors as well, sometimes

Previously, I used IT as a base to ensure everything was covered, and then, I added other textures over it. This time, initially for performance reasons, I decided to, for the most part, stick with IT.. And I actually love it! The textures, some faintly blurry, add to the dreamlike quality of Morrowind, and they have a gentle softness that is easy on the eyes. Others are suitably sharper and have  a well defined roughened look that gives a very tactile sensibility.
  6. Love this retexture looks vanilla but much much better

Really good textures that imo are overall better than MET, however I just noticed a lot of rock/cave and dwarven walls have really ugly coloured grass in them and now I can't unsee it and am in tremendous agony.

Question: did you make the signpost readable ?

That's not possible without manually replacing all signposts with custom ones. All use the same meshes and textures.

All the signposts say "F*** you, Outsider" in Dunmeri.

      Signposts Retextured
This makes the signs in Vvardenfell readable with vanilla friendly textures. No sign looks the same. Colors, font and resolution blend in with original MW graphics.

I installed unrar and that fixed a similar issue for me.

      From Bing:

If you don’t want to install any software on your device, you can use unrar.online to extract the content of a RAR file online. You just need to upload the RAR file, wait for the extraction process to finish, and download the result in a Zip-Archive
