I've been messing around with texture mods, and come to find that intelligent textures has overall higher quality textures than MET, but it doesn't match vanilla colors (this annoys me to death actually because more often than not the new color is worse than vanilla), meanwhile MET matches vanilla colors but some of the textures actually look worse than vanilla.

The HD Vanilla Texture mod is great but it doesn't upscale enough so textures still look a lil blurry.

I really wish there was a version of intelligent textures that matched the vanilla tone/colors.

Really good textures that imo are overall better than MET, however I just noticed a lot of rock/cave and dwarven walls have really ugly coloured grass in them and now I can't unsee it and am in tremendous agony.

Question: did you make the signpost readable ?

That's not possible without manually replacing all signposts with custom ones. All use the same meshes and textures.

All the signposts say "F*** you, Outsider" in Dunmeri.

      Signposts Retextured
This makes the signs in Vvardenfell readable with vanilla friendly textures. No sign looks the same. Colors, font and resolution blend in with original MW graphics.

I installed unrar and that fixed a similar issue for me.

      From Bing:

If you don’t want to install any software on your device, you can use unrar.online to extract the content of a RAR file online. You just need to upload the RAR file, wait for the extraction process to finish, and download the result in a Zip-Archive

Anyone know if these support darknuts world textures? Idk how they go under the radar so much. They look more detailed than intelligent textures or met imo.
id love to see some pregenerated atlases for them.

Texture Replacers can't be "compatible" with other Replacers - last one overwrites the previous.

Weird question but is this compatible with Better Clothes? For example can I reinstall intelligent over this mod? Ty

It's a texture replacer - so you have to choose one over the other. BUT Better Clothes is an ESP mod so it does other stuff to make it compatible with Better Bodies and also mesh fixes etc.
Overwriting Better Clothes Textures won't take away the other benefits - just have to decide which textures you like more.

Can you install this after you install MET? Are you supposed to do that?

There would be no reason to do so. Both MET and IT cover the entire game, so the one you install last will just overwrite the first entirely.

Is one better than the other? According to the OpenMW total overhaul  guide, it recommends to install MET and then "Morrowind AIO normalmaps for OpenMW". But the requirements for the latter is Intelligent textures? So should I install this mod after MET and then install AIO normalmaps?

Could you clarify the versions?  I d/l'ed the most recent upload which say version 2.0.  However, a previous verssion I have is labeled ver 4.0 and the changelog in that version's readme also says version 4.0.  Although I would assume the version uploaded the other day is the most appropriate one to use, it's still a bit unsettling to use a version labeled ver 2 when there was an older upload labeled ver 4.0.  Thx.

The versioning scheme is a complete mess unfortunately.
