Sadly this no longer works with Morrowind Rebirth as of update 5.7. Balmora and presumably many other locations are full of yellow exclamation marks due to this esp looking for nif files that have been changed.

I hope someone continues this but in a reverse way: balancing the things added in Tamriel Rebuilt to be on-par with the balance changes in Rebirth, instead of undoing the changes made in Rebirth.

Same. I always found the balance in vanilla was a little cushy and overly forgiving, and didn't do a good job making different weapon groups/skillsets distinct, though the ideas existed in the mechanics. Rebirth does a better job, I'd love to see that adapted province-wide.

Well, it's kinda a big project for just one person. Like, I started on rebalancing some of the armors but it'll take forever. It would be best if there was a group or something to tackle all the changes. If there was a Github and/or Discord, I'd bet people would be willing to join
      Edit: Tamriel Rebirth GitHub

I hope someone picks up and resumes development of this because eventually updates on MR and TR will make compatibility of the two drift further apart from one another.

What happens if I remove mainland from dependencies with Wrye Mash? before i did i was constantly getting errors no matter what I tried, but now it "seems" to be working perfectly after I did.

When I installed this with both Morrowind Rebirth 5.3 and 5.1.1, I have multiple missing mesh files like this table only when I was playing on TES3MP, while on singleplayer I don't have this issue.  Any ways I could go about fixing this?

EDIT: In fact, I was able to resolve this issue by simply deleting the mesh files indicated in this reddit post:

It is a bug from Rebirth originally. The OpenMW version TES3MP uses is outdated and for some reason cannot read the models of those tables. The solution is, as you figured out, just deleting those meshes.

Not sure if i did something wrong, but the smuggler cave outside seyda neen is missing with this installed. I use openmw if that helps.

edit: Never mind, i fiddled with the load order using the wryebash link you provided in another comment (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45439 ) and the cave is back.
    cheers
