I've hunted for a good 15+ minutes with my gamma up, but I can't find the entrance. Doesn't mean you did a poor job of it, but I'm going to take a bouldering break and try it again later tonight. Been meaning to try this out for awhile, and I had to ironically go to Pelagiad to do the Something in the Water quest mod.
Edit: Looking at your screens, I think I see the entrance is against a lake wall so there's a hint!
Edit 2: After getting very well acquainted with the bottom of central Lake Amaya, I COC'ed correctly to my first guess of "Dwemer Observing Station". IMO, the entrance is much too far away from the clearly added-in Dwemer architecture, and with zero hints, leading to more player frustration than a reward of feeling like you've found it or earned something.
I'm glad it isn't super obvious, but I submit for you consideration that more Dwemer pieces/clues to lead players to the grotto entrance would be a significant improvement.
Currently I'm level 10 and going to have a real tough time getting through those enemies, but will beef up and come back. Looking forward to exploring the proper dungeon!
