Update 18.02.2020: now you can run this on Windows as well! Check out the new Requirements section.

Run real DOS in Morrowind (OpenMW) right now!

How to reach the destination: just jump into the boat parked next to the Seyda Neen lighthouse, activate the boat and it will give you a smooth ride across the water right to the destination :)

ATTENTION: Currently the runtime for this mod is Linux-only. The source code is available on the GitHub page. I have some plans to make a redistributable Linux VM which could be run on Windows host instead of making a native Windows port, because there are some complications around porting the DosCard library.
The mod itself is platform-agnostic.

This mod is basically a VM embedded into OpenMW engine. You'll need to either run the runtime provided with this mod, or build the runtime from source code yourself (GitHub link above and in video description on YouTube).

Note about launching the bundled runtime: in order to use the OpenMW engine provided with this mod, you need the official version of OpenMW properly installed and tested on your setup. Use this official page to start your installation. After that you can easily run modded ELF file right from the directory where you unpacked the archive. No need to replace original ELF. The same thing applies in case you're running your own build - you can run the openmw ELF right from within the build directory.
In order to use the OpenMW-CS provided with this mod (you'll need it if you want to make your own VM-enabled mods), you may need to manually write the local data path to the config file (it will ignore your main installation settings).
If you have any problems running this mod or other questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM or post a comment. I'll try to help as soon as I can.
