I think people forget that pretty and happy women (plenty of them) did exist in old and ancient days for thousands of years. Will try your mod, thanks.
So far as I can tell, this no longer works or is incompatible with most of the usual mods someone would download these days. My Mod list is as follows: MGE XE Morrowind Comes Alive Morrowind Enhanced Textures Better Bodies for NMM Better bodies - Hand fixes Better Heads HD Heads - A Female Face and Hair Replacer Balmora Cliffside Estate (Player Home) Morrowind Code Patch Morrowind Script Extender MCP Skunk Works Tamriel_Data
Although the mod claims to be a texture and mesh model replacer, this does not appear to be the case. The mesh models in the mod folder are seemingly replaced, however the textures included in the mod do not directly replace anything, rather they create their own folder separate from the other texture folders Called "HiRez Heads" and "HiRez Hair." Now, if there is a conflict with one of the aforementioned mods, the author never mentions anything about conflicts of any kind and I was too lazy to uninstall the whole game and start over to see where the original texture locations were designated. And if there is another mod or setting required, yet again, the requirements and description mentions nothing about it. So as a result, (considering the other mods are more useful than this one) this seems to be more like a resource pack rather than an actual replacer these days.
(Weirdly enough, some of the NPC's are using the assets from this mod, but I am unable to see any of it in character creation.)
I believe your issue is that you're using Better Heads. If I recall, BH uses an esp and redirects to it's own unique folders for meshes/textures. This should use the default vanilla filepaths for it's meshes/textures if it's a straight replacer (no esp), therefore even if you install these and overwrite the vanilla files, your game is still using the Better Heads models/textures. Try disabling Better Heads in your load order and see if this shows up. If that isn't the problem, IDK, it's been awhile since I downloaded and installed this, but I seem to remember it working fine without any issues (I wasn't using BH, Iwas using a custom combo of pluginless replacers). Anyway, hope that helps, good luck!
P.S. As long as the meshes overwrite the vanilla ones, the textures can be in their own folder and not necessarily need to overwrite vanilla. The meshes contain within them the filepath for the textures that they use, so if the mod author created/edited his own meshes, he could easliy set unique paths for the textures. Just overexplaining, my modding OCD demands it.
Oh what could have been... Modders always leave and give up on the community. So many mods left in the dust, so many hopeful people left forever waiting.
Of course. Male version coming up soon. Just needs polishing. Need to polish this mod up too since it was released with out much testing so let me know if you encounter any issues like clipping, missing ears, mis matched colors etc. Just not sure if i should combine the male version with this mod or publish a separate mod?
Thanks for the reply. Weather you decide to combine the male version or have it separate doesn't matter to me as long as the mod works its all good for me. Hey not that I'm asking you to do it but have you ever thought of making your own custom bodies to go well with these faces? Not that it matters nor needed but it's just a thought.
I wish I could. Maybe some day when I hone my modding skills a bit better. So far only some color textures to match Roberts bodies and Better bodies are coming out in a future update.
Sounds good and I'm sure your modding skills will improve after all you just made this great mod right here so if you could do this I'm sure you can do anything trust me.
Is the male version still being worked on? The only reason I haven't used this is because I haven't found any male replacers that don't look really out of place alongside this. Sucks because I really love the look of this one.
It's been 2 years during the best time in history to get back to modding, due to the pandemic. 100% most likely not ever coming out if it hasn't been done at this point, sadly.
