Every once in a while ive tried to install this mod since september 2025 but somehow I just can't make the textures appear ingame. What ive done so far is try to install it by MO2 (just the core mod) and then edit openmw.cfg as usual. ive some other texture replacer mods installed but this one just doesn't show up. what am I doing wrong?

Just in case anyone else has the same issue of the weapon handles having missing textures:
Don't just drop the downloaded zip into the Mod Organizer 2 downloads directory. MO2 only saw the screenshots directory and then thought that was the data directory. I don't know why, it never prompted me to make sure that was correct. Even trying to manually re-install it through MO2 didn't show the actual Glass Glowset data folder. I noticed the esp was missing too, i have no idea what went wrong.

Just download the Glass Glowset Final zip to your normal downloads directory, extract, and pull out the mod data folder that contains the textures and plugin, then throw that into your MO2 downloads directory. It's all there, nothing wrong with the mod itself, just MO2 acting weird.

I use MET and I'm not sure what textures I must change. Those from MET to fit mod textures names or vice versa?

Just install the mod after MET and let it overwrite.

But they have different names so they can't overwrite textures from MET.

I just tested both and SGW has sixteen texture file names that match MET, so I'm not sure what you're looking at.

In my configuration I have just two - tx_w_crystal_shaft and tx_w_waraxe_glass_shaft. In MET they have different names and readme file says you need to change those names. But I don't know which ones - those in MET or those in the mod?

Oh! I see what you mean now. I thought you were talking about the Optional Textures folder. Okay, so the two textures in the base folder are of vanilla quality. If you if you want upscaled vanilla textures, then take the specified files from MET, rename them and let them overwrite SGW. If you use the Optional Textures folder, then you don't need MET, since that folder comes with its own upscale of every texture.

There is a problem with my glass long sword (magebane), the grip looks white (not exactly pure white as there wasn't a texture), with some green lines surrounding it.
I installed:"Weapon Sheathing" -> Glass Glowset" -> "SGW Sheathing Patch" -> "Glass Glowset-Better Morrowind Armor Compatibility Patch".
this only happens when in sheathing mode (and when i drop it iirc). Not when is being hold.

These look wonderful! The few mesh replacers out there usually change too much from vanilla, I feel. Keep up the good work!
