I definitely like the approach. However I feel as if it can be massively improved. For starters compatibility with food items from OAAB and TR Data could make the mod more viable in other places that use those resources. In addition, I think that giving the cooking kit to more vendors (Honestly you can just add it to the merchant leveled list) besides just Arielle would go a long way.
Seems like it's been quite a while ago that you uploaded new files. Would it still be possible for you to provide an optional file that has Hunger enabled by default or at least show us what has to be changed for it to work without having to open the console in game?
Do your mods (hunger, thirst mods) track hunger and thirst real-time? If I eat before I have any hunger/thirst debuff present will I delay those debuffs from happening?
I solved my issue with the Food not registering as being eaten and the Hunger Level not decreasing. The problem was with the mod "Character Sound Overhaul". "Cooking and Eating" relies on the Sound for Swallow. But "Character Sound Overhaul" changes that sound by default. In order to get the sound back. Go into the MCM for "Character Sound Overhaul" and mark Item Sound Settings -> Enable Item Inventory Sounds = OFF

Is this because I'm in a town? (Seyda Neen)
(YES).
Could you make an option lasting a couple of days or more, please?

Will post if I manage to figure out what's wrong.
UPDATE: I fixed it somehow. Thanks once again!
