Would being undercover, like inside a tent, mitigate the effects?

Suggestion: khajiit should suffer less from blizzards than most races because of their fur. Argonians should suffer more because they're cold blooded.

This mod is still in my load order after a year. As I commented before, it would be nice to have armor have an effect, but the mod is good as is.

Bad Weather Matters and Weather Effects are not both incompatible. Detrimental effects just stock up which is good for someone who wants more challenge/immersion etc.

I use OpenMW if that matters.

Somehow the effects from this mod don't disappear when I go inside, but only when all my other mods are active as well it seems - with no other mods it works as it should. I've also tried Weather Effects and those effects go away. I noticed that bad weather checks for the player being outside ( GetInterior == 0 ) and this one being inside ( == 1 ). No idea if that could make any difference, though. Unfortunately, GetInterior doesn't return a value in the console.

I've never had that happen. It might take a few seconds, but the effects should go away when you're inside.

Hey there! Endorsed, great mod. Im wondering if it could be incompatible with the new mod, Better Balanced Combat, or, Cooking and Eating, or with some mod Im not realizing. I've started to see my fps slightly affected, but since Im an old laptop, yes with mge xe disabled shaders and mwse, code patch, but not openmw, slightly less fps means unplayable for me. Anyways, Im testing.

This mod should have zero effect on your FPS.

Have you considered incorporating armor types as a way to resist weather effects? E.G. Fur Armor resists cold weather, etc.

Thanks for the comments! Regarding other effects, I'd be hesitant to do that. I don't want to "spam" the Player's effect HUD with my own stuff.

As far a potions, I would think the base-game provides appropriate things already to counter the weather, like Fortify Fatigue, Fortify Agility, Resist Shock, etc.

I like that you can use potions to counter the ill effects.
