If anybody is using Better robes and are struggling to get it to work properly with the patch it's all in load order, LOOT does not sort them in the correct order. It should be.
If you are using MO2 (why the f*#@ would you not use that.) You wanna lock those 4 items so that they never move again when you use loot. (Just right click in the plugins list on each of them.)
Ok, so I had a problem with the Saint's Shield - it was showing the correct model when dropped on the ground, but NOT when equipped - it would show an ebony shield instead. After messing around in the construction set, I found out that the shield is allocated to "shield_ebony" in the male armor section of its entry. If you investigate this in the Body parts tab of the construction set, you see that this points it to the ebony shield mesh.
To fix, simply open the shield_ebony section under body parts, rename it to something like shield_saints, then point its mesh towards the nif included in this mod. Then go back to the saints shield entry under the armor tab, open it, and in the new window under "male armor", point it to shield_saints. Save, and its fixed.
I have tried using this mod and UFR seperately, but I cannot get The Mantle of Woe to be replaced and working with Better Bodies/Better Robes. I have used the Better Robes patch and read that it doesn't work due to it ESP being replaced. I do really like the new model from UFR, but it just doesn't work conisistently for with the rest of what UFR does.
Does anyone know how to make this work consistently? Switching the load order manually for UFR to load last makes it appear in game but that blocks Better Robes and vice versa. I know that UFR has a robeless esp as well and I don't have that enabled.
The mod is fine, but some rings are twisted in a strange way that makes them "incompatible" for the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48529?tab=posts . I dont know why but by installing this mod the Ring of Hortator is like rotated 50 degree up instead of staying around the finger. Other rings, like the Caius one, works fine with both mods.
