I've made and will be cleaning up/testing a revised version of this mod. Originally it was for personal use but after spontaneously putting more effort into it than I intended, I'm now thinking maybe uploading it might be nice. Would you mind if I uploaded a new file (crediting you and everyone else involved, of course) and linked it here sometime?
I'm not interested in taking any credit, I just think some people might find my version better suited to their tastes and a bit easier to customise.
I personally cut out HP regen entirely and reduced magicka regen to 10% of what it is here and that works better for me. I don't want health and magicka potions to be useless, you know?
I'm pretty sure it stands for Game Settings in the Construction Kit. Even if it didn't in name though, in practice it does. GMSTs are variables used for controlling the more basic game parameters/mechanics.
Some relevant examples are Encumbrance, Move Speed, Fatigue use and regen, etc.
So is magicka supposed to regenerate faster with your weapon or spellcasting ready vs sheathed? Because when I sheath my weapon magicka regenerates a lot slower than unsheathed. I'm using morrowind rebirth btw
No it's not, total boner on my part. If you have the know how and inclination the health and magicka should be If ( Player->GetWeaponDrawn == 1 ) If ( Player->GetSpellReadied == 1 ) I lost game files a while back, but I'll get a fix posted once I can get openmw setup. Better regen works in OpenMW, I just felt it wasn't good enough. the gmst edits one works to balance stamina and a few other things I did for personal play, documented the changes so they could be edited if desired, or no gmst for those that didn't want them, except spells draining stamina to balance stamina never really dropping otherwise, but that can be removed easily with openmw-cs. But then spells get broken...
