Thanks to Remiros for permission to host his classic Unique Jewelry mod, now included as an optional download.
The assets are also packed with the main file here for convenience.

Description
Ever gone into a dark dungeon with your True Lights and Darkness and your newly acquired "AMULET OF LIGHT" and thought "wow, I'm gunna be just like a Hobbit clutching the Light of Eärendil's Star, this is going to be so cool!" only to have your little green ball go *perff* against a wall and leave you in darkness, with your pride and immersion wounded?
No More!
Now amulets and rings (and almost everything else) with the light enchantment on it, will be cast on self. Apart from the Light Staff, because obviously you want to be shooting balls of light out of your staff right? Now if only someone would make a mod that actually showed you casting things from your enchanted staffs (staves?) and other items... hint hint better modders!
The creation of this mod was Inspired by this mod: Light Enchantment Fix for Items by Ozrabl98
BONUS!
In the comments for "Light Enchantment Fix for Items" some people were after something that was compatible with the very brilliant, very vanilla friendly and very much needed mod "Unique Jewelry" by Remiros (and so was I). In the comments for Unique Jewelry, some people were after a version that didn't add any new items or make changes to the leveled list. So, with Remiros' blessing I've included an edited version of his esp, merged with this one as the MAIN file, two birds, one stone!
Notes
The separate esp files are still available here but you must get the assets from either the main download or Remiros' classic version on this page.
Use either the two files or the merged one, not all 3. If you use the merged file or the Unique Jewelry Purist Version, you don't also need the original Unique Jewelry esp.
Installation
Pop the esp you want to use in "Data Files" or put them in your OpenMW pipe (along with all of Remiros' UJ good stuff) and smoke it.
