Love this mod, works well with MCP shortcuts like R to take all. Only thing I would change is the option to have containers not default to the search bar like you can with the inventory and magic menu. Cant seem to take all items with R when holding down crouch to sneak or use the MCP shortcut spacebar to close containers.

I was just about to ask for this same thing. Let us turn off the auto-focus on searchbar for the contents window and this'll be pretty much perfect. Until then I think I'll be just disabling the search bars... The rest of it is nice!

There's already an option for this in the MCM. You can change the search to auto focus to nothing, the inventory search bar, or the magic search bar.

The MCM option only works when opening the inventory, not containers unfortunately.

Currently, the quick and dirty way to fix search bar auto-focus for containers is to open the MenuContents.lua file, find the line:

      contentsFilters:focusSearchBar()

      and delete it.

Thank YOU for the solution!!!!!!!! 😍 I did the same for Magic menu & continued quickly picking spells with keys without loosing the mod portion!

      🙏👍

great mod!! so many useful features, even just the option to gray out dialogue options alone is fantastic but going through the configuration menu, I was amazed at how many things were implemented!

however, I also would second the questions about if there's any plans for an update to revert the mouse-over descriptions (both for items and for NPC "name tags" for lack of a better word) to vanilla? the larger text box is a little clunky and the two icons (the coin and the iron weight) stand out a bit since they're very bright, especially since they're separated by the red bar - and I don't use enchanting personally so if there could be a way to disable the "enchant capacity" too to make the description boxes even smaller it would be great! otherwise, this is a perfect mod and a fantastic addition to the game! :)

You single-handledly saved all MGE XE enjoyers out there in regards to map expansion for PT and TR,

Hello. How to return strings instead of icons of the price and weight. They seem a little unusual to me.

Small bug report regarding the "Auto-select search bar" feature.

Even with it set to "None," the auto-select will still apply to the barter and container menus.

Must-have mod, just reporting a slight issue with the minimap: the button to switch between local and world map stops working when you move the map at all (not the map window, but your position on the map). Going to inventory or switching cells doesn't fix it, but starting a conversation does, and so does going to the Mod Configuration menu.
Nothing huge, especially since you are able to fix it by yourself any time, just letting you know.
And thank you for creating this mod, it's everything I was looking for making the UI better and more.

Good afternoon. Thanks for the great mod! I can't imagine playing without it.
But there is one nuance: in the item description window, the price and weight icons are out of the general style of the game. What files are responsible for them in the archive with the mod, and is it possible to return the text strings of these parameters?
    Thank you again

"Out of the general style of the game". How so? I always thought they fit in perfectly. They aren't elaborate or stylized or anything. Just simple icons to make reading and information gathering at a glance easier.

This is just my idea of the unique aesthetic of Morrovin, friend.
I understand that these icons were in the game files, but for good reason they were not used. All other icons have a strict Dunmer style.
And here is a simple yellow coin and a steel weight. As if from an ordinary generic RPG)
I apologize for the long explanation of my position, but the aesthetics of Morrowind are important to me.
I just would like to know how to return strings instead of icons)

Thinking on it more I actually do agree they look to a degree out of place.

But I *would* argue any incongruency is worth it for the easier to read interface.

I think most people would choose the icons instead of text strings. But *options* are always great in such instances.

Every now and then I'll find an NPC with both a ton of topics that also don't show up as already read for me already for some reason. I earlier had an NPC like this. Hopefully fixed in a future release. Relevant image.
